About

Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in my sessions I promote behavioural transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions.

Suzie helped me for around 2.5 years. When I met Suzie I was at one of the lowest points in my life due to built up trauma mixed with the issues throughout and following the pandemic. Suzie helped me get through this and find coping mechanisms that I still use on tough days today. She is a thoroughly lovely person, never made me feel judged or like I was forced to open up. She went at my pace and was truly a safe space for me when I was at my most vulnerable. I recommend her to anyone who may need it, Suzie will help. More...

I couldn’t recommend Sue enough! She helped me through probably the hardest time in my life with no judgment. She gave me amazing tools to use to cope with these feelings in the future and helped me understand myself and my feelings at the same time I’d recommend her to anyone.

After years of heated bickering and struggle, I finally understand how to handle and support the reactions of my pre-teen.

I am so glad I took the time to seek professional advice regarding my daughters behaviours, I have been taught to look for the root cause rather than react.

I found great comfort in reflecting on my partners recent bereavement with Suzanne. It’s hard to understand what you’re going through when you’re supporting someone so close to you at home at the same time.

An open atmosphere to finally shake everything on my mind and from the comfort of my own home.

It’s takes the edge off being able to choose remote discussion.

Couldn’t recommend suzie more, so thankful for the help and advice I’ve received.

If you’re looking for quality Individual Therapy sessions with an experienced Therapist that cares, then you’ve come to the right place. I guide my patients every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters.

Couples therapy will enable each person to be heard and to hear themselves. I will provide a mirror with expertise to reflect the relationship's difficulties and the potential and direction for change. Let me help you empower the relationship to take control of its own destiny and make vital decisions, and above all improve communication. Only then will you be able to set clear goals and objectives for the future.
If indeed you both feel like it’s time to part ways, let me help you do this with love and gratitude.

Evidence shows that many clients seeking therapeutic help attend for one session only- no matter what their therapist's orientation or approach may be. This doesn’t mean if more help or guidance is needed that won’t be available, simply that help can be available in a more affordable and effective forum.

Children and Young People need therapy when they have problems they can't cope with alone. Or they need help when problems affect how well they do, feel, or act. If things don't get better on their own, kids may need therapy so things can improve. Sometimes, entire families need support while trying to communicate, learn, and create boundaries.

In therapy, CYP learn by doing. With younger kids, this means working with the whole family, drawing, playing, and talking. For older kids and teens, therapists share activities and ideas that focus on learning the skills they need. They talk through feelings and solve problems.
I offer praise and support as they learn; and help them believe in themselves and find their strengths. Therapy builds helpful thinking patterns and healthy behavioural habits.

Bereavement, grief and loss can cause many different symptoms and they affect people in different ways. There's no right or wrong way to feel.
As well as bereavement, there are other types of loss such as the end of a relationship or losing a job or home.
Some of the most common symptoms include:
shock and numbness – this is usually the first reaction to loss, and people often talk about "being in a daze"
overwhelming sadness, with lots of crying
tiredness or exhaustion
anger – towards the person you've lost or the reason for your loss
guilt – for example, guilt about feeling angry, about something you said or did not say, or not being able to stop your loved one dying
These feelings may not be there all the time and powerful feelings may appear unexpectedly.
It's not always easy to recognise when bereavement, grief or loss are the reason you're acting or feeling differently.
