As the Director of HM Healthcare, I bring a unique perspective to the field of care, inspired by my personal experiences as a caregiver for a loved one. From a young age, I witnessed the importance of compassionate support in our family home. This ignited my passion for nursing and led me to specialise in community care, focusing on individuals with Learning Disabilities and the elderly.

With a background as a Clinical Specialist and later as a CQC Inspector for the Greater Manchester region, I gained valuable insights into the intricacies of delivering high-quality care. These experiences have deepened my commitment to upholding exceptional standards in the industry.

Throughout my 30 years in the care industry, I have championed the rights of the voiceless and served as a beacon of support for families. My tenure with the Care Quality Commission highlighted the need for rigorous oversight and enforcement of quality standards in domiciliary care settings.

Motivated by this realisation, I established Huntleigh Medical Healthcare in Harrogate, with an unwavering dedication to uncompromising quality. We treat each and every person with the utmost respect and dignity, recognising the invaluable contributions of our staff members who are the driving force behind our organisation.
