End of Tenancy Cleaning
Not Worth the Stress and hassle of having to pay for another company to come and fix a poor job!
We Hired House Cleans for an end of tenancy service which included Carpets, Bathroom, Kitchen and added Oven Clean and paid £170 for the clean.
Upon inspection, the carpets were great and the majority of the other rooms however, some parts in particular were NOT Clean.
The inside of the oven still contained a lot of grease, the hob was still dirty with bits of food sauce and dirt still clearly visible. The Hob covers didn’t even look like they had been wiped. (we have dated images of all issues)
The Kitchen and Bathroom taps were still dirty and some parts had quite clearly not even been wiped.
We contacted them and included images as evidence and assumed as they had a 100% Satisfaction guarantee they would resolve the issue. Instead Andy fixated on 1 issue and refused to acknowledge all other issues we brought up (even though they could be clearly seen in the images).
We were willing to be fair but Andy offered us nothing in return, clearly their satisfaction guarantee is a lie.
We have now had to pay an extra £150 to our landlord in order for him to get more cleaners out to correct the poor job carried out by House Cleans. We would not recommend this service to anyone!
A partial refund would have been fair to help us cover the cost of another team of cleaners but Andy’s shocking customer service meant he instead chose to ignore our calls and emails and keep our money.

Thanks for your review. As you state the cleaners did a good job but you weren't happy with the oven. As stated to you, the cleaners sent us pictures of the oven which was in a terrible state and should have been disposed of. However, they cleaned it the best they could but some bits could not be cleaned further without causing further damage. Both cleaners have a lot of experience with oven cleaning. It seems that you are being very dishonest as well. A landlord would not charge £150 for further cleaning.
