Stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling for work and had a great stay. Reception staff were brilliant, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food in bar area was delicious, good choices and reasonably priced. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed with everything you would expect! Hotel has a free shuttle service to Canary Wharf that runs every 20mins on a morning which was a great way to start the day, alternatively the DLR is a few mins walk away! More...

Second time in under a month I've stayed at the Novotel Excel in London's Docklands. Very speedy check in on Friday evening, was given room 741. Clean and spacious room, large comfortable bed with a separate sofa that could double up as a single bed. Bathroom was beautiful, very clean, large walk in rain shower. Plenty of storage and cupboard space, only gripe was could not change the channels on the tv as the batteries were "dead", had to turn off the tv by the switch at the back of the tv, a little annoying and something I told the receptionist when i checked out yesterday morning. Overall, a lovely clean. modern, bright hotel, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and nice views of the dock.||And, thankyou Accor/Novotel for reading my request when booking to have an airport or dock view room, you made that happen ! I stayed at Novotel for only 2 nights but I loved the experience. I haven’t had a reservation in advance and have shown up late, but I met friendly and super helpful night team (Alafia & Arnaud) who were highly professional and made great effort to accommodate me. The hotel is new and well located (close to the city airport and London expo center), downtown London is only half an hour away by DLR.||Would highly recommend it! More...

I stay at this Novotel every year for World Travel Market and the hotel is always fully booked. Despite this, Michael Lucas, the GM, is always on hand ensuring that guests receive the level of service which only usually be found in a quality owner-managed hotel. Outstanding

Very clean hotel, pleasant staff, good breakfast and nice outside seating area looking over the Thames. So convenient for ExCeL and the O2. Great bar, plenty of places to seat. Super foot massage machines free to use. Plenty of places to eat outside the hotel. Very friendly environment, young and so helpful staff, trying to cope with diverse requests in such a short time. Near and so accessible inside parking, beautiful rooms, large and with nice window perspective, over the city or the docks, depending on which side, obviously. Spotless common parts, elevators. This hotel is accessible via the DLR, Docklands light railway, so is a little way out of the West End, but services mean it is still easily accessible. ||||The hotel is obviously situated to cater to the business community who may be attending the Excel centre.||||It is a modern, clean and functional hotel with friendly staff, lovely and extensive breakfast options, on site pizzeria, gym and foot massage machines!||||The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and functional, with complimentary tea, coffee, water and bathroom toiletries.||||It is close to the city airport so you will hear flights taking off from early in the morning, so not much chance of a lie in if you re a light sleeper.||||We found this hotel to be very reasonably priced, including breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to find that the commute into the West End was easier than we had anticipated. The DLR Custom House station stop is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel and the Royal Victoria stop is less than 10 mins. More...

This is a very stylish hotel in a perfect location for the Excel and O2. The rooms are very comfortable and modern, with USB charging points by the desk and the bed, a fridge and a safe. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel car park was very convenient and cheaper then the public car park nearby. The separate lifts/stairs from the hotel entrance and car park to the reception and main hotel is a good security feature.||Minor negatives: the air conditioning had no effect on the temperature of the room whether turned fully one way or the other (the thermostat numbers had all worn off); service in the restaurant was a little slow on my first night, but good on the other two nights. Myself and my daughters visited this hotel as we were attending the Salon International Show . |The Novotel Hotel is two minutes walk to the excel centre and has a fantastic view from the hotel bedrooms over the river Thames . |We booked last minute , and on our arrival was provided with secure parking within the hotel for 24 hours for £18 which we were very happy with , knowing our car would be safe whilst we visited the exhibition. |The hotel room was lovely and would recommend the breakfast as there was plenty of choice and of good quality. Très bon accueil à la réception avec Thibault et son manager qui parlent tous les 2 français. Il est dommage que l'hotel soit un peu excentré mais le train est proche de l'hotel. La chambre que nous avions pour 4 était un peu étroite.et les ados ont dormis sur un canapé. London is an expensive city, it would be a lot cheaper if you stay outside zone 1. Novotel London Excel is a nice modern hotel, bed is comfortable and the shower is strong. Metro can get very crowded during the peak hour. More...
