I've managed to study up to a Grade 6 standard and have received distinction grades in every exam! I came to Nigel for lessons as someone who could already play but needed help with applying theory to my playing. He totally understood what I required and has been methodically working through the theory that supports my learning at a level that is just right for me. Nigel has been teaching my daughter Bethany for four years now (please also read her own glowing review). He has always been unfailingly helpful and supportive, and is very knowledgeable on all aspects of the guitar and music generally.
