River Mill is an old Grade II listed watermill set alongside the river Great Ouse and a small marina. Downstairs is the main bar area and to the rear the back room which is a dining area opening out on to the lower mill pond viewing deck. Upstairs there is another full bar together with a lounge area and the rest is partly given over to our restaurant.

Have lived in the area many years, and we visited for the first time yesterday. Our aim was to just pop in for one drink. Landed up having quite a few drinks and also had something to eat which I have to say was absolutely delicious . The staff were professional and friendly. A band then turned up; my absolute nightmare, but they were brilliant and lovely personalities too. An excellent experience all round. We will definitely return. Highly recommended. More...

Had a wild mushroom scotch egg with the egg oozing out beautifully and a smoked mackerall pate which was delicious. but more importantly they kindly gave my two beagles the off cuts of their roasts. How lovely. Thank you. x

We had a Sunday roast and drinks. 10 adults & 2 kids, a big group to cater for.
The food was delicious, every one was happy with their meal(a near miracle for a big group).
And the service was great too (another miracle for both food and service to be good)
A particular thanks to the waiter called James, who was very polite, attentive & professional at all times. And we were quite a fussy bunch.
Will definitely look forward to eating their again.

Having moved to the area recently we stumbled across this pub whilst out for a walk. It has quickly become a firm favourite of ours and now our friends. We have always received a very warm welcome and have never been disappointed with either the food or drink. We are just back from the Gin tasting evening with our friends from the midlands and have had a great time and the live band gets a huge thumbs up. More...

We came here for a lunch on a Sunday and they were short staffed. But James the waiter gave excellent customer service you could tell he really cared.
He has a great work ethic. If it hadn’t been for him our lunch experience would have been ruined.
James was friendly, polite and conscientious.
The 5 star rating is mainly due to James

Visited last night for the first “sing a long” movie night and haven’t laughed so much in ages!!! Staff were really welcoming, really lovely atmosphere and impressive drinks menu.
I need to come back again and try some of the other ciders when I have someone else to drive me and then to sample some of the gin. Did I hear right that you have 65?!
The only reason a star was dropped was due to the not very comfortable chair but efforts were made by bringing in lots of cushions.
Great evening and I will be back ☺️
