We had an excellent tour with ETG. We booked The Outlander shared full-day tour and had a wonderful day. Our guide was knowledgeable and gregarious, and was able to show us BTS images and stills from. the show for each location. My husband and I took an Outlander day tour with Sam. She picked us up from our hotel. We are from the State's and are unfamiliar with the area. The van she picked us up in was very spacious which was nice since most vehicles are small in the UK.

The filming locations are actually quite far apart and she knows the fastest and most direct routes to them all. No time is wasted at all.

There are so many filming locations now that I don't see how you can do them all in 1 day. We left at around 9:30 and didn't get back until close to 6.

Sam knew the people at the castles and we got right in.

She is not only knowledgable about the books and show but her knowledge of the history behind and around the places/areas was so helpful.

Scotland has so much history - if you need a tour guide --- she is a wonderful option. More...

we loved our 3 day private outlander tour with Sam! We were on a girls trip...and Sam with her humor and knowledge made our tours fun and we learned so much! She would pick us up in the morning and drop us off at night right at our door! I took Edinburgh Tours Guides - Outlander Share-A-Tour and had THE BEST time. I don't think this kind of tour would have worked if your guide wasn't an Outlander fan, but of course our guide Steve was! Although this was only a day tour, it felt like we hit nearly all the mandatory places (so many!) you need to see and experience while in Scotland as an Outlander fan and didn't feel rushed. Steve even took us to locations they filmed episodes Season 3 of the TV show - this is before the episodes have even aired! All the insider knowledge made the tour that much more fun and special! Since the tour is tailored to be small and intimate, it felt like I was just hanging out with my friends and not a tourist on a bus tour. OF COURSE, I am keeping in touch with these friends to share our love of Scotland and Outlander! Because of this awesome experience, I am totally planning to book with Edinburgh tours again the next time I'm in Scotland…hopefully soon! Thank you Steve and Edinburgh Tour Guides! More...

My sister and I did a mini-Outlandish tour and I can't even begin to tell you how absolutely AMAZING it was! I could of done the 10 day tour! Sam, our tour guide, was so lovely. The fact that the stress of not having to drive, figure out directions was lifted and we were just able to enjoy the scenery was perfect. Due to having Cystic Fibrosis, a chronic lung disease, walking long distances can be tough and exhausting but thanks to Sam she secured mobility scooters and wheelchairs at the different castles and Culloden field. This made all the difference and I was able to fully enjoy myself and take in my surroundings without having to worry about becoming tired or out of breath. Sam literally took care of everything! I was so sad to leave at the end of our tour. I can't wait to plan my next trip to the Highlands!

I don't even know where to start with how much I loved our tour with Sam. Our trip didn't even seem real until she picked my sister and me up in Edinburgh, a full 24 hours after we had arrived in Scotland. We did the 4 Day Mini Outlandish Tour with a day at the Isle of Skye. Lallybroch was our first stop and words cannot describe the feeling I had walking up the gravel path. My sister has mobility issues and the fact that the tour was just us three was amazing. Liz was able to go at her own pace without having to be rushed along like you get with bigger tours. Sam was so gracious in coordinating mobility scooters for her and that meant so much us. Sam dropped us off in Edinburgh last night and about 20 minutes after she drove away, my sister and I were already talking about how much we missed her. Thank you for the trip of our dreams, Sam. We cannot wait to come back! More...

I had the best tour with Josh today; without a lie, the highlight of my 12 day visit to Scotland (a very close second being my day bus tour into the highlands to Loch Ness, and more, which was superb).
