What do you love most about your job?
The workmanship, the progress and the finished article. We enjoy looking back at a finished job and knowing that the client is happy, you have created something that does what it is suppose to do, but more importantly it will last. And the fact that it is a "pretty job" is the part any electrician enjoys the most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We (Phil Johnston & David Hollands) spent many years working for other contractors on large scale commercial and domestic projects. We have been friends since we were young and felt we had a service to offer clients. We strive for quality and enjoy what we do, its the fastest advancing industry in terms of technology and change and we enjoy pushing at the forefront of it, employing people with a variety of specialist skills in different areas (Solar, Gate automation, Security & CCTV, Heating system controls) so we can offer our clients a full all round service for whatever there requirements.

We strive to produce the finest work possible and expect the same ethos from all of our employees. Are main goals are workmanship quality and customer satisfaction. We are not always the cheapest on price but we allow enough time to make sure the job is to a high standard and that the client is happy rather than the (it works) attitude.

We offer a quoting service on line for Solar installation, these quotations are based on information provided by the client and images using Google Earth.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have instructed a distancing and mask wearing policy in clients residents in line with current government guidelines at any given time. All contractors carry PPE equipment and antibacterial hand gels they apply between properties and during jobs to prevent any contamination.

Battery storage usually integrates with our solar panel installations however can be fitted to existing solar system or to properties that have an off peak tariff such as Octopus energy that allow you to charge your systems at a much cheaper rate overnight similar to old storage heating.
