Very newly refurbished hotel with a high quality offering. Good staff who are very friendly. Refurbishments are done well and as someone who stayed here before were well needed. Only major criticism of the rooms in my opinion is I had an accesible room which quite possibly has Holiday Inns / IHGs worst attempt at an accesible bathroom. Bath too low for anyone to get out of and no shower seat. Would be better if they just had a wet room. Breakfast is good although the hash browns taste a bit watery, hard to describe but closest I can get. Dinner selection at the hotel needs improving, at the moment it's dull and basic. More...

Stayed 1 night. Parking is limited but managed to find a space at 730pm. However later that evening I noticed I was blocked in but luckily it had moved by the time I needed to leave in the morning. ||Staff very friendly especially the girls on checkin.||Room was fine except the lighting which was not great when fitting my contact lenses lol.. This hotel exceeded expectations. For the price I expected from but tolerable in reality I was cheerfully greeted on arrival; they knew of my booking immediately and I was handed a room key very quickly.||The room was nice and comfortable twin bed but I was alone so no issue there. The bed was softer than I would normally choose but was actually very comfortable. Most importantly for me the room had a bath not just a shower. ||The restaurant serves basic but good food and wine at reasonable prices. Service was prompt and friendly. ||Breakfast was excellent. All served at a good temperature and the black pudding was perfectly cooked. ||Parking is too limited for the number of rooms; they really should comp parking at the bus station car park next door. Amazing place with highly professional stuff. My view was incredible - seeing whole Preston in the night from the top floor was breath taking experience. Restaurant with delicious meals and beautiful arrangements - Gym highly professional for every personal level of exercise. I can not recommend highly enough this please. Excellently refurbished room, with top-notch blackout curtains (always my biggest priority!) and plentiful plug sockets. Oddly, we were only given one tea bag in our room for two people, despite multiple coffee sachets, but that got fixed easily at reception. Other problem was being left an oddly long time to wait to be checked in at breakfast, but at the start of the serving window on Sunday that wasnt that surprising, and it was a very good breakfast (especially the eggs!) once there.Stayed here over usual Premier Inn because it was cheaper for that night. Would do same again in same circumstances; Premier Inn only wins out ordinarily due to location (we come in by train) and us hardly ever needing the perks of a full-service hotel. More...

On arrival I was greeted by a friendly professional receptionist, my first thoughts were and to be totally honest why have I spent the last 13 weeks staying at motorway service station hotel whilst on Business @ BAE Samlesbury. Everything and everyone was perfect and lovely. The welcome on reception was very professional but so warm and friendly but to be honest every member of staff was polite, professional and friendly. My daughter and I had lunch before going shopping, then dinner at night and finally breakfast the next morning. All the food was perfectly cooked and scrumptious.
