Convenient location near Edinburgh, always find good rates and has a lovely restaurant next door . Great place to stay if you want to be within easy driving distance to either Edinburgh or Perth

A good lodge style hotel, good car park and well situated next to an independent gastro pub where you can get good food. Breakfast at the hotel is of good standard buffet style.One downside for me is that a number of the rooms are connected together with a separating door that whilst well locked offer no privacy with the occupant next door. I spent a week at the HIX Glenrothes to go to the Solheim Cup at Gleneagles. Excellent hotel with very good facilities and friendly staff. They had breakfast ready for 6.00 am which allowed me to head off by car nice and early every day for the journey to Perth. I would definitely stay here again if I am visiting Fife. More...

We all liked the rooms, which were spotlessly clean but our friend commented on hers particularly as it was perfectly accessible.
