My sister had her wedding at Holdsworth house in November 2018 it was beautiful. The whole family stayed over. We all loved our rooms. Our family room was stunning and being on two floors gave us the feel of having separate sleeping space. The staff were fantastic and help make her day calm and perfect. I can't recommend the food highly enough 10 of us had and evening meal together the night before the wedding and it was lush. Breakfast was pretty awesome too More...

I want to say thankyou very much to Holdsworth house!! I was lucky enough to win first prize in a recent competition, and my fiance and I had THE most wonderful experience! ! The hotel itself is just gorgeous. so picturesque and quirky, with lots of places to explore. Dinner in the stone gazebo could not have been more romantic, and our wonderful butler Frank made sure we were well looked after!! We really can't thankyou enough, it was a truly magical night away x More...

Loved this hotel. Food was awesome, House was historic. The only negative was the fact that the housekeeper took away the soap and body wash from the first night (really silly given the big sign in the bathroom about being kind to the environment). So I had to use a new soap for the second day, and also never got a replacement body wash! Other than that, it was fabulous. More...

Arrived at hotel and was offered a glass of complimentary wine (no soft drink alternative offered but I still thought this was a nice touch and I also didn’t request a soft drink alternative)|Arrived at the room which was lovely! The food was superb, so tasty and decent portions. The service throughout was excellent. |I also had breakfast there and again it was delicious. The food didn’t take long to arrive but service was again brilliant.||Only slight negatives- the toilet flush isn’t great, and on check in I wasn’t given the WiFi password but I called and was given it immediately so not really an issue. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights when attending a wedding. We stayed in a suite - room 16. The room was gorgeous, with a staircase leading to a comfortable bed. Very clean. Breakfast was tasty in the morning, with plenty of vegetarian choices.||Unfortunately our sleep quality was affected due to how loud the pipes were, waking us a few times throughout the night. We also had problems when buying drinks at the bar while at the wedding - the same two drinks cost different amounts the three times they were ordered, more expensive each time. We were served by a different member of staff each time so it could be unfamiliarity with the products/till? ||Overall a nice stay and a gorgeous wedding venue. More...
