What do you love most about your job?
I love Social Media - you heard that correct. I literally love it - I feel like if you are not looking at your social media presence online you are missing a vast swathe of potential customers.
Perhaps your company has an existing network of people it relies on for it's referrals and work, but these will eventually move over to these digital platforms in the near future.
With Facebook reaching 2 billion worldwide users in 2017 and with 63% of the United Kingdom being active on social media (80% of those via a mobile device) the move to social media and appropriate websites designed to get your user to YOUR desired end point as quickly as possible is, inevitable.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked with CRM databases and moving into sales roles I saw the importance of social media in the marketing mix as part of an overall marketing strategy. I adopted channels quickly and leveraged them to increase connections, relationships and ultimately sales. With the advent of social media as a global phenomenon I shifted my own experience away from direct sales and into marketing.
Eventually deciding 2 years ago that I could use my expertise in the industry, combined with my passion for the subject matter and my sales experience to really make a difference to businesses and their marketing efforts.
