Have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Henry Spencer - by far have found them the most professional, helpful and attentive agents I have come across in Sheffield. My partner and I just moved into a rental property together. Everyone who dealt with us from Henry Spencer were friendly, explained everything well and treated us with respect (which I have found is not always the case with some other agents in Sheffield, especially if you're young / a student). When we were shown around the property the person doing the viewing noticed where some wallpaper was peeling off and immediately notified the landlord and had it all sorted out by the time we moved in. The inventory was properly and professionally carried out. Have had no problems with anything at all. The team will do their very best for you as a tennant. I've rented in Sheffield for the last ten years and had poor service from Dove Properties and Broomhill Property Shop . HSS are really organised, helpful, and most importantly friendly. As applicants for a house, my partner and I had some difficulties getting my guarantor approved by a third-party company working with the agency. However, thanks to the very quick correspondence and support from the admin team, we got everything sorted within just 48 hours. I’ve applied for other houses in the past and the agencies have always rather snobbishly judged me based on me currently being a student. This was not an issue with HSS at all and there was no prejudice whatsoever - they are therefore completely nonjudgmental and young person-friendly if you’re also from that sort of background.My partner and I can’t wait to move into our new house and we’re very thankful for HSS’s hard work, especially Johanna’s. Absolutely lovely people! Me and my partner found a very nice house in s6 area. We decided it was perfect for us and filled application form. Unfortunately after few days our life situation changed and my partner due to his work need to travel abroad for a longer period of time.
