Hengrave Hall was our wedding venue in October 2019. We knew since he moment we first saw it that this venue was perfect for us - a hidden location in a small English village, a beautiful Tudor mansion with exclusive access and beautiful grounds surrounding it, stunning interiors and period accommodation. We visited a coupe times before making the decision to book the venue and the management team have been nothing short of excellent. Fastforward to our wedding day and I can honestly say I was blown away - with such a large venue logistics are key to ensuring guests are not wondering down the long corridors, lost and confused. Hengrave Hall had 2 or 3 coordinators on hand at any given time + the catering coordinators (exclusive partners to the venue). The whole day went without a hitch, from welcoming our overnight guests and guiding them to their rooms, to managing the logistics of the wedding, ensuring we are running on time, the staff have been incredible and have made our day an experience that neither us nor our guests will forget. P.S. The one thing we were anxious about when we booked the venue was that we had to use an exclusive catering supplier, Milsoms Catering. In hindsight, we are so happy with our catering - not only was the food EXQUISITE, but they looked after us so well throughout the day, coordinating events, saving us food and drinks to ensure we get to eat through the excitement. We could not recommend Hengrave Hall enough. The team are fantastic and throughout our day, we did not need to think about anything. They have everything covered and make sure that everything runs smoothly. This was also the case in the lead up to the wedding, all questions were answered quickly. My husband and I got married at Hengrave almost 6 weeks ago and I can honestly say it was the best day of our life From the day we booked our wedding date to the big day itself, the Events team looked after us from start to finish we didn’t have to lift a finger. It was like being in a fairytale for a day, we felt so special and I felt like a princess. Both our family and friends even now keep saying now they were made to feel so welcome all day. Hengrave Hall is such a magical romantic place and we fell in love with it as soon as we drove down that amazing drive. It’s a day we will never forget and that is thanks to the staff at Hengrave. Myself and Husband got married here on the 2nd of September and had the most amazing day. I got treated like a princess from start to finish with a very special mention to Catriona and Mollie who went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. All of our guests were completely wowed and we have some very special memories from our day and only wish we could do it all again. All of the staff were lovely and very attentive and if there was anything we needed it was there in a heartbeat. If you want a truly special day then this is the place to have your wedding. The only reason for it not being 5 stars is simply because the night before I stayed at All Saints hotel which is the sister hotel and was left really upset and disappointed by the service and stay I had there there leaving a dampener to start of my wedding eve and over a month on have still had nothing by way of acknowledgement from management. I came here for a wedding and unfortunately I forgot to let my friends who were getting married know that I was vegetarian. However even though I thought there'd be issues as I didn't mention anything. There wasn't. The catering company was superb and brought my vegetarian meals just as fast as the other meals were pouring in. This venue was beautiful as was the wedding itself.
