We attended last nights anniversary and new menu launch as the very lucky prize winners! The food was superb and the service excellent. I had fillet of beef and my partner had rib eye steak and a guest on our table had the lamb chop; all cooked to melt in the mouth perfection.The sparkling wine is also a firm favourite. It is my understanding that the wine consumed is produced from the grapesThe restaurant, as you walk into it, offers a huge elevated panoramic view looking out over the outskirts of Shrewsbury and too the hills and slopes beyond. You can dine and watch the changing patterns of the weather as rain descends chased by sunlight. I found it fascinating.You don't have to eat. We feel so fortunate to have Hencote as our “local”! I celebrated my 40th there with cocktails a few weeks ago, and visited yesterday for lunch with friends. .....everyone loves the venue and were completely blown away!
