Q&As

It's so inspiring to see the way hypnotherapy can take something someone has struggled with for years and create such fast improvement. It's also fascinating how other issues a client is struggling with can disappear after the problem they initially presented with is sorted. The brain really is an amazing thing.
As hypnotherapists, we get to see lots of new people, clients might be helped very quickly so sometimes you might only see them a couple of times. And it feels so good when the next time you hear of them it's because they've told a loved one to come to you to be helped just like they were.

During the pandemic I decided I wanted to enjoy my life now, not wait until I retired. So I set about building a life I didn't have to retire from. This has involved enormous amounts of study and now I work as a Hypnotherapist, Yoga Teacher, and workshop facilitator and it's been such an amazing change.

For most issues I work on a one session basis. This is because I trust my ability to put people into trance and I focus on referrals rather than stretching out what can be one appointment into four. I work with more sessions for multiple needs and for developmental trauma which is a much longer process.

I enjoy working online so very happy to have online appointments. I conduct these over Zoom and if you'd like to see the quality of the connection you can book a consultation over Zoom too.

Many of my clients are really keen now to get out and about again after Covid-19. But I am also available for online appointments.

Services

For most needs I work on a one session basis. This includes phobias, habits, and pain management.

I use hypnotherapy to work with understanding and healing ancestral and transgenerational patterns.
Sometimes we need to look further than our own experiences to understand where an issue originated and release the tension associated with it.

I work with trauma including developmental trauma. This usually is an ongoing piece of work which starts with learning to regulate fear and panic responses in the body and takes each piece of the trauma step by step when you're ready to do so,

As someone who is neurodivergent myself I recognise hypnosis can be tailored to make it more effective for neurodivergent clients.
I have additional training in ADHD and Autism.

I have training and experience in past life and age regression.

I work with Parts Therapy, which is designed to help you work with different desires and needs within your mind. For example, whilst you may really want to quit smoking, that habit will be giving you benefits too. A 'part' of you is desperate to stop whilst another 'part' of you is desperate to continue.
Working with Parts Therapy is considered more effective than working with suggestion alone.

I provide a media library of recordings to help you work with your own subconscious.
