Healing Touch Care (HTC) is a recently established family run company founded to provide home care perfectly tailored to suit you or your loved ones. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) since being registered in 2020.
With management having accumulated almost 50 years’ experience in healthcare and skilled and committed support staff, we provide a safe and responsive service and encourage feedback to ensure that we are meeting expectations.

They went out of their way to fit in around our needs
They were completely dedicated to my mother, to her health and wellbeing;
They were loving as well as caring and became in even such a short space of time part of the family, whilst maintaining complete professionalism;

Seeing the impact our work has in improving people’s health and well-being and in turn their lives by providing the support needed to help them maintain independence in their own homes. It is rewarding to share love and joy on a very personal level by building trusting relationships suffused with compassion
What inspired you to start your own business?
Many years working in the health care sector has given us the experience to understand that we wanted to work to help maintain healthy living and independence for clients. There is a growing need for home care which we believe has space for the organisation we aim to be. Inspired by our vision we chose to develop our own business which is based on the quality, safety and compassion that we would wish for ourselves.
Why should our clients choose you?
You can be reassured by our CQC registration that we provide safe, quality care with trained, DBS checked staff. We will consult to provide tailored care plans to ensure that the service meets all your requirements. With the help of our monitoring system, visit reports are updated daily by our carers to allow family representatives to keep up-to-date with the care given, and management to oversee all outcomes and be immediately aware of anything that may require their attention. Any changes in circumstances will be responded to, and we will always be open to feedback to help ensure that the care provided will be all that you wish for.

Our service is a personal, home care business, so many tasks must be done face-to-face. Aspects of work relating to general support and housekeeping can be planned to avoid close contact, but would still require staff to be present in clients’ homes.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff are supplied with necessary PPE (face masks, aprons, gloves, hand sanitiser and face visors) to ensure our clients safety from COVID 19 and are aware of the necessary precautions they need to take to ensure the risks to our clients are minimised. Weekly Covid-19 tests help to ensure that staff are clear to care for vulnerable clients without exposing them to unnecessary risks. Where possible within working time limitations, we plan for continuous care so that clients do not have multiple carers, and also our carers are not visiting multiple homes on a daily basis. All our staff have received the COVID-19 vaccinations.
Assistance with Personal Care
Support with washing, bathing, dressing up, moisturising, continence care, mobilising, oral hygiene, hair grooming, feeding and nutrition and any other activities that you may require.
Medication Support
Include reminders to take medicines, prompting, and actual administration. Collection, delivery and disposal at Pharmacy.
Light Household Chores
Cleaning, hoovering, ironing, loading washing machine and ironing. Assistance with grocery shopping and paying bills.
Live-in-Care
Live-in-care requires a Carer to live in your home 24 hours a day to support and aid in your daily routine. This will include support with personal hygiene, medication support, food preparation and feeding if required, escort you to appointments and light domestic duties.
Companionship
Our Carer will keep you company if lonely chat with you, play some board game or do a favourite hobby with you. They will help you to communicate with your family using different communication technology if you wish.
We will help you to maintain your social life, accompany you on outings such as attending appointments at the hospital GP, Dentist, Opticians, Hair Salon, places of interest and Garden Centres.
