24 hour slow cooked lamb shoulder, carrot puree, smoked whipped mash potato, caramel shallots and a rich red wine jus
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
As menus for each event are bespoke and created specially for that event, I work with the client creating the perfect menu for them based on their likes and dislikes, if the event has a theme, and also budget.
What do you love most about your job?
Food has been a passion for me for most of my life, and I love being able to bring happiness to people through food and eating.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want the freedom to cook for as many people as I can with as much variety as possible.

From start to finish I will work with every client on everything from menu development to set up on the day. I am trust worthy and extremely passionate about offering the best service possible
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes I can, remote cooking classes are always a hit. I will work with the client on what they want to learn and then send over an ingredients list of what is needed for the class. We will then do a video lesson and I will cook along with the client showing them each step.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We take lateral flow and PCR tests throughout the week to make sure we are staying as safe as possible through this time.
Private Chef
This is a great service where we create a menu tailored to your event and Chef Kirsty will come into your home or chosen venue and cook your menu for you and your guests. Private chef services can be used for any kind of event no matter how small or large.
Fridge Filling
This is a brilliant service which comes in handy for people or families who love eating good food but who either don't have time to cook or just don't enjoy cooking. These meals are prepared either in your home or delivered already prepared, and can then be reheated at a later stage using the handy reheating instructions.
Event Catering
Let Happy Plate and Chef Kirsty cater for your event, no matter how small or large. Menus will be created and tailored for your individual event, working with you and your budget, to create a menu that will compliment your special event.
Cooking Classes
These are always fun. Hire Chef Kirsty to do cooking classes with and each class depends entirely on what you want to cook or learn. Kirsty will do all the shopping and then come to your chosen location and cook along with you.
