Hamilton's Schoolwear & Embroidery has been open in Ilkeston for the last 20 years. We have worked with a huge collection of local schools and businesses over that time, throughout Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire.
We offer a wide range of services including school uniform and school accessories with embroidered logos, branded workwear and corporate wear, along with a selection of promotional items.

Embroidery & Print
Embroidery is an elegant and stylish way to decorate or personalise any garment or embroidery friendly item.
The digitised image is saved on disk and loaded to the embroidery machine. The machine uses the digital instructions to create your design with threads. The number of stitches that the machine needs to make, the quantity of items being embroidered, and the location of the embroidery determines the embroidery cost.
Any design that will need more than just keyboard lettering will have to be digitised. Digitising is the process of taking an image of your logo and converting into stitches using specialised software developed especially for the embroidery industry. Digitising
Digitising is the art of converting a picture or image into stitches by using specialised software and must be done to prepare the garment for embroidery.
Digitising at Hamilton's is done completely in house by our experienced staff, ensuring an excellent result. We are on hand for any advice you may want in placement, artwork or design.
Monogramming
A monogram is a motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters to form one symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognisable symbols or logos.
Monograms can be added to dress shirts, towels, bathrobes, napkins, handkerchiefs, or bags.
You can purchase these items from us or you can bring your own for monogramming.
Printing
We can print direct onto, or vinyl print any garment, including t-shirts, hoodies, hi-vis. Any design, promotional products, workwear, charity events or celebrations like stag or hen parties
