Hackit Beastie is a professional gardener who has 30 years of experience in the horticultural industry, specialising in Bespoke garden maintenance to your needs, right plant for right place principles, garden planting design & soft landscaping, successional planting including winter gardens, herbaceous borders, kitchen gardens, walled gardens, woodland gardens, tree and shrub planting.

What do you love most about your job?
The different gardens from small postage stamp, to large estates, The different types of people that you meet and learning about them and how they reflect the garden that they want as they see it as an extension of there home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
For years I worked in commercial horticulture producing plants for all manner of companies, then i moved in to the garden centre industry, then i got the opportunity to return to my first love as a personnel gardener, so i was working full time at this and in the evenings i was setting up my own business part time. I could see an opportunity to spread my wings and go out and do what i enjoyed.

I have a wealth of knowledge, trained in amentiy and botanical horticulture, worked in commercial, technical and retail horticulture. I have built my business on my professionalism and delivering quality workmanship, my clients recommend me to there friends.

I communicate with customers by email, text and telephone so always able to discuss any matters they have, without always having to visit each client, this allows for greater transparency.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All government guidelines are followed, although working outside, you tend to maintain a safe social distance, masks on if required.

Provide information and advice on garden management, design, garden lessons, maintenance schedules.

Garden Maintenance
General fortnightly tidy in spring, summer and autumn, Once a month during winter months.
Grass cut and edged, borders weeded, general pruning of bushes as required.
Hedge trimmimg / Strimming
From £25 per hr
Lawn Maintenance Service
Regular grass cut, Feeding and moss removal.
Grass scarification in Spring and Autumn
From £25.00 - £50.00 per hr depending on lawn size and additional assistance.
Garden design / soft landscaping
Design planting schemes to ensure all year round colour and seasonal interest in garden.
Plant procurement service and plant service.
