First off, the photos are incredible! True art work capturing a range of moods. We got plenty of classic, romantic portraits as well as quirky, fun ones. We've got so many photos we can treasure for ever. Hacker gives you way more than just brilliant photos though - he put us at ease (probably did a better job of calming nerves than my friends did!) and knew just when to take control and when to melt into the background and capture candid shots.

We did a pre-ceremony shoot which I would massively recommend. Not only did we get time to take some stunning shots without guests having to wait around, but also it calmed our nerves by distracting us from the big moments ahead.

The ring flash was also massively worth it. We got some awesome photos of the guests but also it was loads of fun, a real party atmosphere in the photobooth area. The huge number of our friends using them for profile pictures speaks for itself!

We would highly recommend Hacker as you captured our day beautifully. He made us feel both at ease throughout the whole day and gave some great creative suggestions on the shots. He is a talented photographer and felt more like having a friend, than a typical regimented wedding photographer, I have worked with many photographers being a make up artist and its surprisingly rare to come across someone so real and grounded. After our first meeting with James we felt like we had know him for always, which really helped us to relax when having our engagement shoot. We were both very unsure about having our picture taken but with James it was fun and we actually enjoyed the experience in the end, despite the rain and wind. A truly Bristolian Wedding, starting from the Corn Exchange, through Nicholson’s Market, boarding ‘The Tower Belle’ at Welshback, boating down the floating harbour through the locks onto the River Avon , and being met at Beese’s Tea Garden by a Samba Band and Dance Troop. The following reception and evening’s party was a lively and quirky affair.
