Services

Acute Care Services are episodes of care that someone receives on a short-term, high dependency basis. In a hospital setting these would include an intensive care, inpatient, outpatient or accident & emergency department.

Adult care is support for anyone over the age of 18 who has additional needs and requires assistance with their physical and mental health, helping them to continue activities of daily living.

With more and more hospitals looking to get patients home quickly and safely in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that you and your loved ones may be feeling anxious about being discharged without any additional support.

Comfort care is for people who have already been hospitalised several times and are no longer likely to have their condition enhanced by treatment. It is an important part of end-of-life care as it provides the patient with dignity and peacefulness, and helps to reduce pain levels.

Community care or care in the community, is care received in your own home rather than in a residential or nursing home.

Convalescent care is short-term support provided by skilled carers in your own home, or a care home.

Disability Care at home enables people living with disabilities to live as independently and with as much dignity as possible. Everyone living with disabilities is an individual, so it is vital that care is individualised too and a ‘one size fits all’ approach is never considered.

One of the services we provide is domestic care, which gives our customers the opportunity to receive personalised support around the home.

Hospice at home is a care service that allows patients with serious or terminal illnesses to receive expert respite care in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home.

Intermediate Care, sometimes called reablement care is a form of respite care that supports someone to remain in their own home while they recover from an illness, accident or hospital stay.

Long term care is a branch of care that addresses the needs of people living with serious or debilitating illnesses who are unable to care for themselves.

Ultimately, effective medication management is to “optimise the benefits that treatment offers and attain the best outcome for each patient.”

Personal care means anything done that is of a personal nature. This may include tasks that are personal to you, such as bathing, showering, applying creams and lotions, dressing, and toileting

Personal care for elders is the support and supervision of daily personal living tasks and private hygiene and toileting, along with dressing and maintaining your personal appearance.

Postoperative Care is the type care given after a surgical procedure. The type of postoperative care you will receive will depend on the type of surgery you have had, alongside your general overall health – often including wound care, pain management, and day-to-day support at home.

Preventative care is a form of healthcare that prevents disease, injury or illness – essentially taking steps to live well for as long as possible so that your health stays at a good overall level, rather than living an unhealthy lifestyle and then tackling subsequent health problems as they appear.

Reablement care, also called intermediate care, is a type of short-term homecare that may be necessary after a hospital stay, accident or an illness to enable you to become independent again.

Domiciliary care is the range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home, and is available to those that require additional support with day to day household tasks, personal care or any other activity that allows them to maintain their quality of life and independent living.

Respite care is a short-term passage of care, often for one to two weeks, from a carer who is different from your usual provider.

Specialist dementia care works to reduce the effects and symptoms of dementia, whilst offering reassurance to the individual and their families.

Overnight care is when a carer stays in your home overnight to maintain your daily routine. Care needs don’t stop at the end of the working day; Overnight Care gives you access to trained professionals throughout the night to support even the most complex of needs.

If you’re in need of some extra care, speak to our specialist team to get the right level of support for you. As one of the UK’s top providers for elderly care at home, we’ll work with you to keep you in the home you know and love.

Whatever your health requirements or specific care needs, we have 30 years of experience in supporting adults of all ages to live independently in their homes.

Passing away peacefully, with dignity and within familiar surroundings, is what many of us would wish for. End-of-life care at home allows you – or a loved one – to do just this, in the place you feel most comfortable and safe.

One of the main benefits of having a carer at home is that they can also provide domestic help with cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, preparing delicious meals or running errands.

Circumstances can suddenly change meaning that you need home care at the drop of a hat. We have branches across England and Wales, so if you need emergency care it’s likely that one of our trusted carers can help.

Holidays are an essential part of life, allowing people to enjoy a change of scenery and recharge their batteries.
