What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people. It's all about understanding what Landlords are looking for, and finding them just that. This applies to the service they are requiring, and the type of tenants they want. Landlords become Landlords for many different reasons; some completely unplanned, and this can affect the way they want the property let. I enjoy getting to know the applicants and ensuring that it's the right fit every time. Choosing where to live is one of the most important decision people can make. It has a huge impact on every aspect of people's life, so being part of that decision making is a responsibility I don't take lightly.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have 20 years’ experience in the housing sector, working for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and the Construction Industry. I started at the Local Council in the Housing Enquiries and Repairs department and went on to become a Housing Officer in the North East of England, where I studied for my Degree in Housing. I then moved on to working in various sectors within several different Housing Associations in the South West taking on the roles of Housing Officer, Rent Officer, Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, Service Charge Officer, Allocations Officer, and Tenant Liaison Officer.
Working with people, and within the housing market is my passion, and as a natural progression, I decided to go into business on my own. Greentree is the result!

With 20 years experience in the Housing sector, there's not much I haven't seen! My background is different to many of the high street letting agents, and that gives me a different perspective on the lettings process. We’re committed to deliver success to both landlords and tenants to ensure the right tenant for the right landlord every time. It's as much about people as it is about property. And with a personal service from a small independent agency, you know who you will be talking to when you call, and you'll not feel like just another number. I also work with a International Relocation Company in assisting British Nationals relocate back to the UK, and with the Local Authority and Care Companies in assisting them in finding accommodation for their clients too, so there's many more options than the traditional letting route if you're open to it!

Yes, all our Landlord services can be made available virtually, with digital signing and video calling available.
Let Only or Tenant Find
Suited to the more experienced professional landlord, this will give you the confidence that the property will be let
to a fully referenced tenant, on the appropriate legal tenancy agreement. With the let only service, the landlord
would become solely responsible for any issues that arise following the commencement date of the tenancy
Fully Managed
With the fully managed service, we’ll manage all aspects of the tenancy from the day the property is advertised until the end of the tenancy, and return of the tenancy deposit.
We’ll handle all compliance matters, to ensure you meet your legal duties, and your Health & Safety responsibilities.
We’ll handle all contact with the tenant(s) and all maintenance and repair issues. We’ll also undertake regular property inspections, and report to you. We’ll provide efficient collection and forwarding of rental payments and monthly statements
HMO Management
We also offer the Let Only, and Fully Managed service packages to HMO Landlords. In addition to the services
offered in our Fully Managed package, we would also conduct weekly visits to the HMO to check on the cleaning, and communal areas, including waste collection areas, and any gardens. We’ll undertake the legal Health & Safety checks including Fire Safety, and ensure any issues are brought to your attention, and dealt with swiftly
