Emma Goude is fantastic and I would highly recommend her. She directed 2 films for us, 'In Transition 1.0' and 'In Transition 2. 0' and we loved both and they were very well received. She is great at getting under the skin of stories and people feel comfortable to talk about things with her. She is very skilled at producing stories, and carrying the viewer along with it. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in having a film made. More...

Working with Emma and Green Lane Films on two promotional films for local community projects was a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. We particularly appreciated her enthusiasm for the projects, and the way she led us through the whole process from initial ideas to finished film, highlighting the key points we wanted to make and putting them into a coherent, informative and very watchable storyline. All those involved in the film project found Emma's contributions helped them re-evaluate their work and roles objectively and created a stronger sense of community teamwork. There is no doubt that the quality of the films is a large factor in the increased interest from potential funders and media. We recommend Green Lane without reservation. More...

Emma and Green Lane Films produced a magnificent film for Glorious Chorus in December 2010. It was no mean feat - a flashmob choir performance at a packed evening Christmas market in Totnes. Due to the late decision of mine to film a flashmob performance of the choir singing Fairytale of New York, Emma and I only had time for a one hour meeting the day before where we mapped out the plan of attack. On the night itself we met an hour before our performance across the road to the market, in a bustling cafe. We sorted out the details over a coffee and the team checked over their equipment. The location for our one 'still' camera was only finalised 20 minutes before the shoot. Despite this chaos, Emma & her team managed to capture 1) the spontaneity of a flashmob performance and 2) the magical wintery feel of the market on this particular night, when the temperature never rose above freezing. This video immediately attracted attention and has now accrued over 33,000 hits on youtube. Emma and I have collaborated since, on the back of this success. I find her easy to work with - friendly, supportive, creative and incredibly efficient. And lovely. I'd work with her again anytime if I needed another video - why look anywhere else? More...
