Describe your creative process.
I like to meet a new client face to face (if possible) to build a rapport and to get to know the person, so get an understanding of how they think and their aims.
Once we agree on costings and timings I like to create some rough visuals to establish a direction. I'll then develop one or two options to confirm the design and the client is happy.
I like to keep in contact and let the client see how projects are developing, be they design projects or paintings/drawings.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Basic information: to see if the client has a clear vision of what is required.
Timing is crucial - a clear deadline is useful, to establish progression and targets.
As much information / photographic references behind the project, so that I can fully understand the brief.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been a graphic designer since the 80's and have been involved in Art, but as a hobby.
My circumstances changed at the end of lock down etc and I found myself in a great position to combine both sides of my passions.
I alternate between Graphics and Art as an when, enjoying both very much.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can offer a very personal service, with enthusiasm.
An advantage is a bespoke personal service, dealing with one person only, at a time suitable for the client.

My clients are based in various places in the UK. Much of my design (and Art work) is via email/Skype/Zoom/Messenger as necessary.
So being in direct contact isn't necessary to keep a relationship between myself and a client.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My studio is accessed remotely from the house. If a personal visit here is required I will keep the door/window open and keep distance - mask etc.
I can also visit, taking the necessary precautions - if required.
