We had our wedding at Woodstock two weeks ago and I can't explain how great this venue is. The location, barn and facilities available are absolutely amazing. To top it off, Janice, Bradley and the rest of her team are incredible! We organised our wedding from Hong Kong, and they were so supportive, helpful and couldn't do enough for us.We had the best ever day, and we can't thank Woodstock enough for helping us have the most amazing wedding.I would highly recommend booking your wedding or event here. So excited!! We’ve just booked our wedding here for August 2020.
This place is going to be stunning! Building work is still in progress but once you are there you will see the scope of the location and that everything has been thought of at the design stage.
Here you have an exclusive venue, set in 20 acres of beautiful countryside but so close to York so plenty of options for accommodation nearby. A bit of country class!
Janice is wonderful. Very warm and so helpful. She helped us design a wedding to fit our budget. We knew from the moment we met her and saw the site that we wanted to get married there.
You can get a sense of Janice’s great taste from the office in the yard: China tea cups, chocolates and champagne. There are large plans you can view on site to get a good feel of how its going to look and you are able to easily walk around the site. We visited twice, one week apart and you could see everything had moved on in that short time.
We hope to have our wedding outside in the sunshine and for our guests to be able to have their drinks and canapés in the courtyard but wouldn’t be disappointed if the weather was poor and we moved it inside, as both are going to be gorgeous.
One thing that worried us at other venues was the additional costs. You get a venue price then you need to pay for chairs or lights or heating etc. There is nothing extra here. This is a true venue package and I feel confident in Janice’s ability to make this a very special day.
There are some beautiful venues around but this one really caught our imagination and we feel very privileged to have been able to find and book a venue like this. I think early booking is essential. I imagine once they are fully open they will be hugely popular.
We look forward to reading other reviews from couples who are having their weddings here before us and writing our follow up review after the day.

Stunning wedding venue. Friendly welcoming team. A must for anyone considering a celebration of any kind. It has the benefit of being in a tranquil countryside setting with modern facilities all under one roof close to the city of York
