We got married here in 2002 where the staff and manager was wonderful very helpful when I went there I explained about my husband's illness (he had ms) they couldn't do enough for us sadly now he has passed but we had a wonderful day and night fantastic food everything was brilliant

We had been to the Loft restaurant 10 days before so we and our friends were looking forward to a sunday lunch at the Abbey suite at the Glyn Clydach Hotel. Lorraine, our waitress was friendly and accommodating. Our friends were a bit disappointed when it came our turn to go up and get our carvery. The turkey had all gone and she was reluctant to get another cooked turkey for them to have with their dinner but eventually she did. It spoiled it for them but when they complained to Lorraine, she sorted it out. The Manager came out to apologise and took some money off our bill. We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch with friends. The carvery was really lovely, everything cooked to perfection. My wife has coeliac disease and they even had gluten free gravy for her and provided a gluten free carrot and ginger cake . Attended a work colleagues wedding here yesterday and the venue was stunning, with wonderful gardens grounds and views. I have been meaning to write a review on this hotel for some time, seeing my daughters wedding album today prompted me to do so. ||||I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wedding with an excellent wedding planner, delicious food and wonderful grounds. ||||From the time we checked in, nothing was too much trouble. ||||The rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. ||||We ate in the Loft restaurant the night before the wedding. Everyone enjoyed their meals as they were cooked to perfection. ||||Janine the wedding coordinator needs a special mention. She is friendly, calm, approachable and totally professional. She made everything seem effortless. ||||The wedding breakfast was delicious, home made soup, a beef dinner with far more meat than I could eat followed by the best raspberry cheesecake I have ever tasted. Our vegetarian guests said their meal was the tastiest they had ever had at a wedding. The evening buffet was also excellent. ||||The guest DJ was brilliant. He was more than happy to play requests and even played some obscure requests that had special significance to our family. ||||The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We were lucky with the weather and so made full use of the grounds for photographs.
