What’s your signature dish?
It is difficult to pick up a signature dish. It almost feel like choosing one of your pupils to represent you and it would be heart-breaking to disappoint the other ones.
My wild mushroom lasagna always comes as a surprise for the people who taste it for the first time as it is such a decadent and flavourful dish but also a vegetarian one.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Understanding the client's needs is always the key, but sometimes is difficult to decide on what we really want.
I always try to get a feel of the event and come with ideas that have season ingredients, ingredients that the client loves and always a little twist.
Creating new dishes and adapting recipes to suit a particular occasion is what made me choose this as a job. I like being creative and absolutely love make people happy with food!
What do you love most about your job?
I think that loving your job is one of the secrets for happiness. Cooking never feels like a hardship and being able to always create something new is exciting!
I love being a chef but working in a restaurant would've been a bit restrictive. Catering allows me to always be true to myself.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Cooking for others has been a way to express my love and my gratitude since I was little. My special gifts were always cakes and I could never resist a cookout. Further on I have started to work in restaurants but could never be completely happy when I couldn't put my own twist on things or I couldn't change the menu as often as I would've liked.
I am not a quitter though, and cooking for others will always be my mission this is why I have decided to open my own catering company and create something amazing and unique every single time!
