If you are searching for a photographer for your big day, no need to look any further. Ginger Photography is the one! We cannot recommend Emma highly enough. My husband and I booked our wedding in just 6 months from Australia to take place in December 2018 over Christmas at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire. We found Emma's profile when browsing local photographers and immediately loved her work. We reached out via Facebook to confirm Emma's availability for our big day given the short notice. Without hesitation, once she confirmed she would be free, we booked and paid our deposit. A few weeks before the wedding we were back in contact to arrange final payment and discuss a few ideas of photographs we would like to try to take on the day (the silhouhette shot you will see, for example). Other than that, we allowed Emma full creative freedom and fully trusted her to capture the right moments. She did not disappoint! We hadn't met Emma prior to the wedding but this was not a problem whatsoever. My husband arrived at the venue first and was met by Emma. I arrived with my dad and bridesmaids and she was also the first person to greet us with her assistant and was already snapping away. Absolute professional! After the ceremony, we had the privilege of been granted access to the House to have some pictures taken in the Painted Hall and Sculpture Gallery. This was a surprise to us all, including Emma. We knew these would be the most beautiul pictures and the best memory of our day. We were so right! Emma stayed well into the evening to capture plenty of shots of our guests and made sure we'd pictured everything we wanted before departing. We have now received our full wedding album (via online transfer as we live overseas). We are so happy we chose Ginger Photography. Emma captured our day so beautifully. I don’t think I can do Emma justice with words!! She was an absolute star!! Her friendly, relaxed manner was second to none which in turn put me and the bridal party at ease which is no easy thing when you’ve got a bride who doesn’t like her photo taken and a maid of honour(my big sister who I love dearly) who hogs the camera but Emma managed it with total professionalism, humour and diplomacy. Emma stayed with us all day until the first dance (a 12hr shift) yet throughout it all she smiled displaying her calming relaxed manner. I didn’t know Emma before my wedding day (Emma came as a recommendation from a colleague of my now husband) but I can honestly say both me and husband would recommend her to anyone who needed a photographer. Ginger photography and IC Things, photographed our wedding and the photos are outstanding! They really caught the atmosphere and fun of the day and the best thing is we didn't even notice they were there. Highly recommend either of these 2 great people as photographers and even better as a pair because they captured so many memories for us!
