Sam at Ginger lily was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the moment we first enquired about booking for our wedding to the day itself. He was friendly, professional and even tailored the menu to be exactly as we wanted for our big day. We had an amazing tasting session to check everything was as we wanted and the food on the day was incredible, we had a sharing style roast and there was so much food to go round and all of our guests commented on how lovely the food was. Can not fault the service Sam and the whole team provided for our wedding. The food was amazing both wedding breakfast and evening food and we had no end of compliments about it! ! All the staff went out of there way to make sure we were all fed and happy including Stevie the dog who had a sausage saved for him to have the next day! Would 100% recommend Ginger Lily!!! We booked Ginger Lily Catering for our wedding. After having to postpone with covid, they accommodated the new date with ease. He helped to design a bbq food menu and then loaded fries and catered for all requirements including dairy free, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. No one went hungry and there more than enough food. We've had endless comments since regarding how good the quality of the food was and everyone wants the chilli recipe that topped the fries! It was an especially hot day and they made sure water was always being topped up too which our guests hugely appreciated. The waiting staff were sooo friendly and nice I couldn't fault them one bit! Thanks again to Sam and crew from all of us. We enjoyed Ginger Lily coming to our holiday cottage on the Norfolk Broads for my 50th birthday so much that we repeated the experience for my Mom's 80th last week. We had super delicious canapes, mains and desserts made with high quality ingredients. Ginger Lily create a really special experience...just remember not to eat any breakfast!! More...

Would NOT recommend Gingerlily catering for weddings. Sam initially gave us a very good tasting service only to not deliver on the day! We will never get that day back and he truly let us down after spending thousands on food. Sams contact with us was very poor throughout. Did not turn up to a meeting at venue! We picked our food and some of this wasn’t even what we ordered! 3 of our guests didn’t even get fed! And told sorry there is nothing left for you! Vegan and vegetarian options were wrong and clearly not enough. Sam didn’t even come to the wedding, sending staff we had never met and not email to advise who they even were. They knocked a post out of the ground at venue! And what shocked me the most was that Sam ignored my emails after the wedding not even bothering to check up on the event and manage our feedback! He could not have cared less after getting all our money! Shocking and a classic example of someone putting all their fingers in the pies and quality goes out the window! I wouldnt reccomend Ginger Lilly to anyone. We used Ginger Lilly to cater at our wedding and we regret it so much. Communication between us and Sam was diabolical.
