They rescued us from near disaster! The previous Company attempted to fit an electric wall hung Boiler and cylinder. They proved to be completely out of their depth. We experienced leaking pipes, and charred floorboards in the airing cupboard due to the previous plumber using a gas blow-lamp to incompetently solder copper fittings. We had to call out the Fire service! The Electrical installation and all of the plumbing done was completely non compliant with current regulations. An expensive mistake employing the first local firm! We were saved by Stuart Hall owner and Director of Gas-Worx. Southampton His team were a pleasure to have in our property. Installation of the new boiler and removal of the old boiler was very quick, friendly and clean/tidy. That is all I have positive to say. After paying over £5500 for a new boiler last year, I’ve had nothing but issues with it and each time I was told to go directly to the manufacturer or get told I have to pay for them to come out and fix their mess. They are very quick to take your money and get it installed but if anything goes wrong, don’t expect their support if it continues to go wrong. I wouldn’t expect this many issues with a brand new boiler. The job went smoothly from start to finish and I have nothing but praise for them. Their knowledge, the quality of their work and their attention to detail were second to none. Gas Worx were brilliant, they came over and provided me with an excellent quote and they were very knowledgeable. There was no messing about and they were really friendly. Ryan was the engineer and he was fantastic, very experienced and finished the work to very high standard. He removed the old water tank and all pipes and replaced heater boiler with combi boiler. From our initial contact, Richard and Stuart were efficient and prompt in their replies unlike the other companies we contacted. They always reply to your emails and texts. A survey was carried out promptly and a quote giving us a number of options for us to consider. After accepting the quote they contacted us regularly to keep us in the loop as to when the work would commence. The men that did the work were efficient and hardworking. Once the work was completed, Stuart inspected it and returned the next day to put the finishing touches on. I would highly recommend this company as they are an efficient and hard working. Only thing to watch out for is there are a number of companies in Southampton with variations of the name Gasworx. Make sure you get Richard and Stuart. More...

Would not recommend them to anyone, check your invoice as they charge you for things you did not have, and as work workmanship and time keeping, they left the flooring a mess after cutting the floor to get to the pipes, I had to put noggins under the floor to be able to put the flooring back down, then had water damage to living room ceiling witch was freshly painted, and as for being clean, left all the rubbish at the property and only took cooper and any think that was good for scrap money, even took cooper from the house that was not part of the rip out, Thought it would have been a good company to go for as they prosent there self well with there Web page and vans all sign written, but not the case,

Amazing! From start to finish the whole experience was brilliant. Richard came out to quote for our new boiler he was polite and efficient with no sales patter and provided us with a quote there and then. When it came to the installation we had 2 installers, Scott and Stuart, who were both brilliant (despite a few issues which were dealt with without any fuss or added expense). They were a little bit more expensive than the other companies, but they certainly know their stuff and make the effort to visit to provide a quote instead of just making a phone call like other companies. Resolving a fault on a system when others could not. The customer is overjoyed when we get a result like this.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I remember back when I was an apprentice and thinking to myself, I could do it a better way.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are trust worthy, result getting and value for money. We are not the cheapest but we give the best possible customer service and continued support.

I am always happy to share advice to clients. Email discussions work but a good old fashion phone call is best.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Common sense. We arrive wearing masks and try to keep our distance from the client. Our installers tend to use gloves while working too.
