Gardens and Plants is a family-owned business in Bedfordshire, founded by myself, Jan Browning, and my husband Howard. During our professional careers, we’ve travelled and worked in Australia and various countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, which help to inspire the ideas and designs we incorporate in garden projects today.

We have used gardeners and designers before but nobody had what Howard and Jan offered.
They took the time to listen to us and then used their expertise to deliver, not only what we had in mind, but added to it in a way that we would never had considered.
The results were fantastic and they have improved with time. This shows to us that it wasn’t just a quick job but they had an eye to the future to ensure we would remain happy.
Oh by the way they are very nice people too!

From start to finish a very professional job, Howard and Jan came and listened to how I used my garden, asked plenty of questions to get a full understanding and then came up with a lovely design to suit my needs in a small garden. I chose to have the team manage the project and got so much more than a project manager as Howard is definitely hands on in ensuring his vision is brought to life and works so well with his landscaper. Then its over to Jan who planned all my plants, helped me plant them teaching me as she went. I would highly recommend this team and my project has changed how I use my garden space. More...

On site appointments are outside only and we do Covid tests where applicable.

Types of plans: 2D and 3d design plans, including: construction plans, lighting plans, irrigation plans and 3D walkthroughs.
Garden Planting
Planting: Full planting services and garden maintenance plans.
Garden Landscaping
Landscaping: Full landscaping services, including: budget control, project management and material sourcing.

Irrigation Systems
Gardens and Plants are an Access Irrigation Certified irrigation system supplier.
