What do you love most about your job?
Quite simply, I love creating new garden from scratch and get excited about new prospects; from the initial meeting I'm always thinking about how I could tailor a design to meet my clients requirements and personality. The feeling of satisfaction I get from making gardens for my clients, whether a full design or a simple decking is second to none!
I also love getting on the tools and doing the work, there's nothing like a designer who also understands what methods (and effort!) is needed to get from a sketch on paper into reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in the landscaping industry for several years I was frequently frustrated with the inability to do my job to the best of my ability - a little extra time and effort to complete the job to a much higher standard is great standpoint.
After much consideration I decided to study to learn to become a landscape designer which sparked my movement into self-employment.
Why should our clients choose you?
My years of experience in landscaping and my technical abilities from previous jobs combine to give me a great direction when designing a garden. And for those smaller jobs which don't require a design, I offer an excellent and honest service to my clients.
Most importantly, I turn up, start the job and make sure it's completed to a great standard!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Sadly it's not possible to offer much in the way of remote services, though if you require a design, any discussions after the initial meeting and site assessment can be arrange over the phone or through Zoom (or similar)
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I try to keep appointments to a minimum where possible and will wear a mask when within 2m of other persons. Hand sanitiser is used frequently. The nature of landscaping works usually takes place over several days as a minimum, so (if permitted) when using the facilities a mask will be worn.
