Had the pleasure of Gail doing my hair and make-up for my wedding day yesterday. She is incredibly professional but a lovely lady too, who made me feel so relaxed and pampered from the moment she arrived. I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world and I got emotional when I saw my little girl's hair, because she looked like a princess. Gail even took the time to do my Sister's hair last minute, so she could feel special too. I am also heavily pregnant with sensitive skin, so cannot recommend Gail highly enough for ticking every box and making all of us look stunning. We had so many compliments. Gail did the hair and make up for me and my 3 bridesmaids at my wedding in October. Right from first contact Gail was very friendly, quick to respond and was flexible with the services she offers. I knew I wanted a vintage feel to the style without it feeling old fashioned. Gail created a beautiful style that held all day despite lots of dancing! My bridesmaids all looked natural and stunning and we all received many compliments from guests all day. Gail is just the most amazing lady. From the moment I contacted Gail I knew I was in safe hands. The hair trial was so lovely and really put the magic touch on wedding preparations. Gail done a wonderful job. Both at the trial and on the day. She done so well to do the whole bridal party and with time to spare and even went over it all just before we had to leave and once dressed. I loved my hair and it stayed in the whole time. Gail is an absolute angel. She did my hair for my wedding along with my four bridesmaids and my mother. On my trial I sort of knew what I wanted but we tried everything, that’s how thorough she is. Gail literally exhausted all areas until we found ‘the one.’ She’s extremely professional and has a very calming tone putting anyone at ease who may be feeling nervous etc. My bridesmaids hair looked stunning and although some may say my hair was simple for a bride it was me. Gail did mine and my sister’s hair and make-up for her wedding on 24 March. She did a stunning job, I didn’t have a trial and she created a wonderful hairstyle for my very thick hair. Previous hair stylists have said that my hair is too thick and unmanageable to be able to do anything other than straighten it, so to have a hair style created that lasted the whole day was wonderful. Even when my hair got knocked, Gail was able to calmly sort it for me, despite being in the middle of us getting changed! Gail created the make-up look that I wanted and people complimented both me and my sister on how we looked on the day. The photos which Gail took of us on the day itself are amazing and we are so glad to have these as a momento of the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gail – thank you so much Gail! Gail did my hair and make up for my wedding on 24 March. I cannot recommend Gail enough. I had a hair and make up trial and Gail tried loads of different styles and did not let me leave until I was 100% happy with my hair and make up (I was there over 3 hours! ).

Throughout my wedding day I received so many compliments on my hair and make up. My sister was my bridesmaid and did not have a trial. But Gail was able to create an amazing hairstyle for her on the morning of my wedding as well as creating the make up look she wanted too. My sister has thick hair and previous hair stylists said they were not able to do anything other than straighten it.

Gail stayed whilst I was getting ready and also took some amazing photos of my hair and make up too, as well as photos of me, my mum and my bridesmaid that our photographer failed to capture. My sister knocked her hair style out of place as she was getting changed - Gail calmly redid this at the last minute to make sure it was again perfect.

I cannot recommend Gail highly enough!! I went to her with absolutely no idea what to do with my hair and she created an amazing hairstyle that made me feel a million dollars! Gail has always been extremely friendly, professional and accommodating in all my dealings with her. From the very beginning she made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She is a really lovely person and just the kind of person I wanted to have around on my wedding day. She was an absolute hero on the morning of my wedding as I had a large bridal party, I can safely say each person's hair was styled to an amazing standard and everyone was delighted with their 'do! My hairdo in particular, lasted for two days! It didn't budge an inch. We all received an abundance of compliments and having my hair done so beautifully was one of my favourite memories from our wedding. Gail is totally and utterly amazing! Don't go anywhere else for your hair and makeup! She did my hair and hair for my 3 bridesmaids. Each bridesmaid had the same style but she tailored to suit each person's requests/personality and they all loved it. In addition, I was stressing about doing my own makeup on the day (following a traumatic makeup trial with somebody different) and Gail stepped in and did the whole thing for me!! I would highly recommend Gail for her creativity, talent and professionalism - no task too big or too small! Gail was my hair stylist for myself and my 3 bridesmaids at my wedding on January 22 2017 at That Amazing Place. We discussed my preferences and my bridesmaids preferences and Gail was brilliant at making ideas realities on the day. She worked really well as a team with the make up artist that I had hired also on the morning of the big day and I felt relaxed and at ease as knew I was in good hands. Gail really does work magic. She does the most amazing things with hair and I was simply blown away with what she managed to achieve with my shoulder length bob. My makeup was amazing too and both stayed pretty much perfect all day and well into the night ( even though a barn dance reception). She was very calm the morning of the wedding and it was fantastic that she came to me so I didn't have to worry about travelling around. I got married on the 29th September and Gail did my hair as well as 5 bridesmaids' and my mum's on the day. From the second I met Gail I knew I had chosen the perfect hair stylist! Her warm, friendly nature made me & my Bridesmaid Carmela feel relaxed the second we stepped into her 'beautiful' home! She made the trial so much fun and I loved the way she tried the up & up/down style to see which i preferred - Especially as I ended up going for the opposite to what I originally thought! On the Wedding day Gail was so lovely to be around, she made me feel relaxed & worry free whilst she worked through the x6 Bridal Party. Both Gail & my makeup artist had everyone ready early which meant we had plenty of time to relax & have photos. What can I say........Gail was so calm and made me feel very relaxed on my special day. Gail is such a nice person. Gail is really just fantastic. From the trial (where she and her husband went out of their way to collect and return me to the train station in town) straight through to the wedding day (where she helped get all of SIX of the flower girls' hair done with a few curls in for everyone to make them all feel special. ...even though she had suggested I not go to the expense of having her do the girls with somewhat shorter hair) she really just went above and beyond (she even helped one of the flower girls' mums get her fascinator put on correctly). She did an amazing job with my mother's hair and make-up as well as all of the bridesmaids. And of course I was quite pleased with what she did for me as well. My hair and make-up lasted all afternoon and evening and the "weaving" she did my hair just looked so intricate. Gail really listens to what you are looking for and made some great recommendations were I was indecisive.
