I had a drainage blockage at my home and really needed it sorted before going away on holiday. G-Force Drainage and Construction were brilliant! ! I called them and they were able to attend that day and also within the hour after I called. They removed the blockage which turned out to be a root ball in my pipe and cleaned the pipe to ensure this wouldn’t happen again. Their service was amazing and very affordable too! Would highly recommend to anyone. More...

Q&As

Personally, I have been in this industry for 20+ years. I have now founded my own company, which has had a successful first year with some fantastic projects completed.

Throughout my 20+ years in the industry, I have loved building relationships with clients and providing high quality services and advice.

I had the expertise and experience, and wanted to be able to grow this into something I can share with my family.

We provide free quotations, which can require a site visit to see the scope of works required.

Patch lining is usually used where there is localised damage to a pipe. It can either be installed as a single i.e., to cover a hole or over a particular joint which may have water ingress, or they can be installed sequentially in the middle of a drainage run to cover a series of joints.

They are made from chopped strand matting (glass fibre matting) cut to various lengths and impregnated with a silicate resin. This makes them extremely strong structurally and due to the resin, it is an effective water barrier.

How we install patches at G-Force:
•Pre CCTV Survey
Before any Patch is installed a pre-CCTV survey must be undertaken to check any reasons this work cannot take place.
•Measure
We measure out the distance needed to install the Patch using our CCTV System
•Mix
We mix the 2 resin compounds together to create the hardener
•Coat
We then layout our glass fibre sheeting and coat with the mixture
•Wrap
We wrap our coated glass fibre matting around the Packer
•Place
We push the deflated packer through the run using rods
•Inflate
We inflate the packer to 2 Bar, to take the shape of the pipe
•Cure
The cure time will depend on external temperature. Normal lead time is 2 Hours.
•Deflate
We release the air from the packer, which will allow us to safely remove the packer from the line.
•Inspect
We will then do a quick look with the CCTV System to make sure that there are no defects or hanging bits of matting which may cause an issue.
•Clean
If for any reason, there are any loose bits of matting, we will use what’s called a Picote Sanding Unit to sand down any edges or remove any defects.
•Post CCTV survey
Once all patches are completed and the engineer is happy with the install, a post CCTV survey will be completed to show that all the works have been completed.

Case Study
These works are already being used throughout the country and are Thames Water approved.

In order for wastewater to be taken away from your property, it will be connected either to a network of pipes leading to a main sewer, or to its own private drainage system, also known as off mains drainage. It is estimated that approximately 4% of properties in the UK have off mains drainage systems, and these properties are typically situated in more rural locations where a connection to a main sewer is not possible.
At G Force Drainage and Construction Ltd we have extensive knowledge with installing, maintaining, and planning drainage systems to suit your properties requirements. Our experienced engineers provide a professional & reliable service with minimal disruption.

All landscaping requirements, garden maintenance, driveways and resurfacing - we can do it all!
