Fantastic auction house. Multiple bidding options to include online via The Saleroom, or enjoy the atmosphere on the day over Coffee and a biscuit. Friendly but professional service to both buyers and sellers. Auctions are fortnightly as are vendor payments. What better way to buy and sell. More...

The reason Franklin Brown's are overtaking the other auction houses in Edinburgh is quite simply their reputation for being trustworthy and honest. If you are a buyer, you know that you're not bidding 'against the wall'. In other words, you know that you're not bidding against a fictitious bidder in order for the auctioneer to bump up the prices. I know for sure that some other auction houses in Edinburgh routinely do this. If you are a seller, then you know for sure that your item(s) will be described/catalogued correctly and when sold, you will receive your payment very quickly ( I've never waited more than 4 weeks). No more slow payments, endless calls to chase up payment and stories like ' your cheque must have got lost in the post' as was the case with the auction house I previously used. In short.. I wouldn't go past Franklin Brown's for all my auction requirements. Dougie Dunbar Edinburgh More...
