Q&As

Fulfilling work. Healthcare workers spend their time making a difference in others' lives, which can increase their motivation and overall job satisfaction.
Making a difference in someone's life and just getting a thank you is very full-filling
Seeing people improving with their quality of life is very rewarding and gives me a sense of self satisfication

Patience is my original birth name. I am a very caring, kind and compassionate and loving person by nature. Having worked in the healthcare settings for nearly 20years looking after vulnerable people from young adults to older people inspired me to start this business as it gives me that sense of fullfillment and rewarding that l am making changes to people's lives by helping them to continue to live as comfortable and as independent as possibles within their communities without having to worry of placed them into instutions. By allowing people to continue to live in their communities with professional help that we provide improves their sense of self worth, encourgaes inclusiveness, equality, less discrimination or stigamisation due to their physical, mental or learning disabilities. I felt the quality of care provided to people in their homes is to higher standards as dedicated time, attention and TLC is provided without having to rush and it also allows people to have something to look foward to especially those who live alone with no families or friends and to develop a professional relationship based on Trust. I was also inspired to start home care business to avoid uncessary hospital admissions due to lack of home care support required around activties of daily living less independent people. Most hospital admission has led to most people not being to return to the comfort of their homes due to lack of support services in the community. People continued to stay in hospital unnecessarily after being declared being fit for discharge but not having tailored care packages in place at home to support them to return home. These delayed hospital discharges meant blocking hospital beds for those mostly in need and also costing our National Health Services (NHS) a lot of money that could be avoided if people are discharged from hospitals to their homes as smoothly and safely as possible
