Alfie arrived exactly when requested to meet me, I had arranged a photoshoot in front of the storefront of Waitrose in Chichester as we had won 'Shop of the month' in 'The Grocer Magazine'.
Alfie was very helpful and gave clear and friendly instructions. He then went through the photos with me to check which I preferred before they were sent off to printing.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
When taking photos I find the best photos come when someone is natural and they tell a story through the emotions shown on their face. This is often represented well in a portrait photo where you can see someone's thought and emotion.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What they intend to receive, and how they want me to integrate. Some customers prefer to not even know the photographer is present, some prefer me and my team to join the congregation and be a little more intrusive!
I think that this is an essential part of capturing the event how the client wants to view the day in the future when reminiscing.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to convey a story or a range of emotions through a single photo or album of photos.
Photos really do capture everything from feelings and emotion to memories.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The capturing of stories and creating my own work, being able to also follow the client the whole way through the process keeping it personalised and friendly.
