Forever Caring Limited will develop and build a trusting relationship with their customers ensuring the service makes a positive impact on their lives. The agency will always promote dignity and self-respect while making sure our customers feel at ease with our staff, always doing everything possible to fulfil the customers needs.
The company has a client centered approach and will be promoting this with each customer, no two people are the same so this will be reflected in their care package. The care package will include the best way to support them, their likes, dislikes, hobbies and interests. Forever Caring Limited understands that needing support is not an easy thing for an adult to ask for, or for their family, so we aim to guide customers with each step and will work together to try and make this transition as stress free and easy as possible for our customers.
Our Mission
To give people the choice to remain safe and happy in their own homes by providing a first class home care service combined with supplying independent living equipment. We aim to be the best at what we do, be a great company to work for and with.
Our Values
At Forever Caring Limited we pride ourselves on supporting customers to a highly tailored service for each individual. Care is all about their personnel assessment along with thorough risk assessments which are carried out to highlight what level of support is needed. Once all the information is gathered then a care plan will be put in place, this will be reviewed by the customer to make sure they are happy and feel at ease with our services.
It is important that the customer feels valued and fully supported. The company wants to provide a friendly service that shows consistency to the people who use it, making our team a family.
We provide quality individual care to each of our clients in their own home environment. According to need we are able to provide a tailored package of care for you which can include some or all of the following:
Helping with personal tasks;
aiding with meal preparation and eating
Assisting with household chores such as laundry and moping
Helping with shopping needs, and if necessary do the shopping;
supporting you with arranging and attending social events.
Making sure you are aware of the need to take any medicines that may have been prescribed to you;
Helping you look after your pets.
There are, however, some things we are not allowed to do for you, and these will be explained to you in your Contract for Care.
OUR HOURS OF BUISNESS:
Our staff are available to care for you 24 hours a day.
Our offices are open between the hours of 09:00am and 17:00pm,
Monday to Friday. However there are staff on call 24 hours a day and there are emergency numbers in section 6.1 of this Service User Guide.
HOW WE DELIVER THE CARE SERVICE:
The process of developing a Care Plan to look after you begins when we are approached to see if we can provide the care you need. Trained staff will visit you at your home to assess you and determine what needs may be. At the same time we perform a simple assessment of your home environment to identify any areas of undue risk to you. From this we develop your personal Care Plan. As we explained, this care plan is continuously reviewed and changed to make sure that it continues to meet your needs. Your personal Caregiver is then assigned with your full consent.
PERSONAL CARE:
Your Care Giver will be able to undertake personal care services such as helping you to get up in a morning, washing, dressing, toileting, bed-making, helping you to go to bed at night etc. The Care Giver can also help you to take any medicines that have been prescribed for you by your doctor, subject to certain limitations which will be explained to you.
PREPARATION OF MEALS & SNACKS:
Your Care Giver will be able to help you prepare your Breakfast, your mid-day meal, Evening meal or Supper, and any other snacks and drinks that you may need during the day. The Care Giver will be able to sit with you while you have your meals for conversation or companionship purposes. Further support will be discussed with you during your assessment.
PERSONAL SERVICES:
Your Caregiver can help you with personal tasks such as preparing shopping lists and doing the shopping for you, help you to manage personal affairs such as Birthdays and other Anniversaries, and with your permission can collect your pension for you. Your exact needs will have been identified when your Care Plan is drawn up.
DOMESTIC & HOME HELP SERVICES:
Your Care Giver will be willing to undertake light domestic duties such as Hoovering, Dusting and general cleaning, Washing up and Personal laundry. The Care Giver can also help with managing your fuel supplies and help with light Gardening duties, subject to certain restrictions which will be discussed with you when your Care Plan is drawn up.
PETS:
Subject to agreement, your care Giver will be able to feed your pet, and exercise it if needed.
LIVE IN CARE SERVICES:
Live-In Care is the realistic alternative to residential care. When you require companionship or personal care in the comfort of your own home and at various times throughout the day, then Live-In care may be the answer for you.
Live-In care provides the utmost flexibility and although we will agree a Care Plan with you to identify key daily and weekly tasks, no two days needs to be the same and you may choose with your Care Giver how each day is approached. The Care Giver will normally be available between 7:30am and 10:00pm at night and we will agree with you when breaks and rest periods will normally be taken through the day. If assistance is needed on occasion in the night then this can be accommodated but where regular assistance in the night is needed, this will need to be taken in to account in organising the daytime rota and rest periods.
Your Live-In Care Giver will need their own room with television to allow them to rest during their own time off when they are not out.
The Care Giver is normally supplied for a block of 4-6 weeks at a time with a week off at the end of each block when another Care Giver can be provided.
CONTRACTS:
We offer services to clients who self-fund or through Local Authority. Our contract is directly with the person or Local Authority body and this Service Users Guide sets out details of our services.
INSURANCE ISSUES:
Our Agency is fully insured for Employers Liability (£10 million), Public Liability (£10 million) and Professional Indemnity (£2 million). This means that our staff are insured when they come and visit you. However, this only applies when we visit you and we do recommend that you maintain your own insurances on your home and possessions in the normal way.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:
Part of the policy documentation that we are obliged to have in place is a “Statement of Purpose”. This is a summary of Forever Caring Ltd, the services that we offer, fees charged and the staff that preform care duties.
CONFIDENTIALLY:
Our care staff are all bound by a Code of Conduct which includes preserving the confidentiality of any information that you divulge to us. We will not actively seek confidential information form you unless we feel that it is your best interests, i.e. to enable us to prepare a better care plan for you. Where we do have such information, we undertake not to disclose any of it to an unauthorised third party without your express permission, except in an emergency or crisis situation. When this happens we will always keep you informed of any discussions that have taken place and this will be recorded in your care records to which you may have access to at any time.
CARE PLANS, ASSESSMENTS & RECORDS:
A Personalised care Plan, or Service User Plan, is the key document for your care. We will have assessed areas of risk and identified your needs, and this is recorded on your Care Plan. When you have your assessment you can elect for family or a friend to be present, they can add additional input or represent you. The personalised care plan is developed with your needs, wishes and preferences at the centre of its design, it is YOUR plan and we encourage continued involvement in all aspects of your care. We choose staff skilled to properly meet these needs and wishes. Care planning is continuously reviewed because people’s needs change, sometimes on a daily basis, and we have to respond to these changes to make sure that we’re delivering the right care. If you have a specific communication need then Forever caring Ltd will endeavour to ensure you are able to communicate with whatever support needed.
A risk assessment will take place before care starts in your home environment.
As we start to work for you, we will be generating records of visits and tasks preformed on a daily basis. You have the right to have access to these care plans and records at any time. Please understand that your Care Giver will need to notify our office of any changes in your condition, or any accidents that you may have had, to ensure that we can maintain the best care options for you.
We offer competitive prices in the market. This will depend on your individual needs and support provided. Kindly contact the office for more information.
