Our wedding day was made so much better by this fantastic team. They both made us feel relaxed during our photos. I was worried having all our photos being taken would feel like a chore but they made it far from it. Amazing customer focused attention from initial enquiry until the signing off and completion of our unbelievable wedding albums. Paul and David photographed our wedding in 2013 and they are truly two of loveliest most professional guys you could ever work with.
We got to spend a few hours with them on a pre-wedding shoot a few months before the wedding and we are so glad we did.

We chose Focal Point Photography for our wedding at Wynyard Hall in 2010. My husband and I both instantly liked David and Paul as people as well as photographers and they were a pleasure to be around on the day. Their style is classic which shows in our photos over four years on as they don't look in any way outdated or too 'trendy'. They captured our day perfectly and all of our guests look laid back and relaxed in our photos which is exactly what we wanted. David and Paul photographed our wedding at Newton Hall June 2014 and they were amazing!
From first meeting David we knew we would be in safe hands with focal point. They were extremely professional and were great at making you feel at ease but at the same time capturing every moment of the day.

After my husband and I met David and Paul; and saw the beautiful way they depicted so intimately the special story of couples wedding day there really was no one else we could choose. We had met many other 'possibilities' before that, but for us after that initial meeting we were totally won over. They really tuned in to what we wanted and spent time listening and advising us, to capture momentous pictures that for us are timeless, classy and capture the feeling of our big day perfectly. There humour and good spirit really came in handy and they supported us throughout the day. I got married at Wynyard Hall in 2011 and Focal Point Photography provided me with the most amazing photos and a stunning wedding album. David and Paul are great photographers they captured my day in a natural not posed way; this is exactly what I asked for.. They are very modern in there photography and such nice people. They are so easy to get along with and very enthusiastic.
I have since had a family where David has taken all my baby/family photos.

From our very first meeting with David and Paul we knew they were the wedding photographers for us. You spend a lot of time with photographers on your wedding day and we were very lucky that David and Paul were so relaxed, easy to get on with, flexible and accommodating.
My husband and I aren't used to having photos taken, so we went ahead with a pre-wedding shoot. We were glad that we did; David showed us how to stand and made us feel very relaxed about having photos taken, we had a lovely morning!

I met David & Paul at a wedding fair, and knew that they would be the perfect photographers for our wedding. Not only is their work exquisite, but they are both down to earth and so easy to be around - which was important to us as photographers are such a big part of your wedding day. They were very responsive to e-mails and always answered any questions we had in the run up to the wedding. We did a pre-wedding photo shoot with David which was a great chance for us to get to know him, and him us. Neither me or my partner were used to having our photograph taken, but we had such a fun afternoon and the photos were amazing. Wow, wow, wow!

After booking the church and venue for our wedding, our next priority was choosing a photographer. After being to a lot of weddings in recent years (we’re at that age in our lives! ) we’d noticed both those photographers who were fantastic, and those who weren’t, and even some locally-based photographers who were rude to guests. We were looking for a mix of both stunning photographs, but also genuinely nice people to share our day with.

We researched and came across Focal Point, and arranged to meet with David and Paul at their studio. From walking in, we instantly got a great feel for them...such genuinely lovely guys, who shared our vision for our wedding day. Then they got their albums out and we were blown away by the quality and style of shots. We immediately booked!

In the year running up to our wedding, David and Paul were on hand to offer advice and guidance, and we even created a WhatsApp group to share some shots that we particularly liked, which the guys actively encouraged, and they even brought along print outs of them on our wedding day for reference.

On the day itself, David and Paul were just fantastic. They were great fun to be around (and worked like magic in conjunction with our fabulous videographers, Jon and Adam from Top Table Films), and even went above and beyond photography to assist with things like my veil and dress throughout the day. A truly genuine, talented, fun and professional double act, we would recommend Focal Point in a heartbeat to anyone, and if our initial shots are anything to go by, we’re going to be amazed by the whole portfolio!

I would not hesitate to recommend paul and dave. They were absolutely brilliant at my wedding a few weeks ago. They are professional and friendly and made me feel very relaxed. We can't recommend Focal Point enough! They are lovely, talented guys who made us feel at ease on our big day. If Google had the option, I would give these guys a thousand stars! On our wedding day, I managed to keep it together quite well and didn't even cry when my wife walked down the aisle, but when I saw the amazing photographs produced by David and Paul, I was in tears! They are so friendly and easy to work with. From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted David & Paul as our wedding photographers. After admiring their work for a few years, we knew they were exactly what we were both looking for. They were booked immediately once we set our wedding date. After seeing our photos this evening it's confirmed our reasons why. I can't put into words how spectacular our photos are. Every emotion and moment was captured, not one special part of the day passed that wasn't caught on camera. Not only are our photos fantastic, having David & Paul around on the day itself made us feel calm and well looked after. They gave off such a relaxed vibe all day. They both have lovely personalities with a witty sense of humour, which is always a bonus! Wedding day 30th April 2016Where to even start.... The first photographer I met with was these guys, and after the ease and confidence that David left me with, I cancelled any other photographers I was going to meet as I didn't need to see anyone else! !David did our pre-wedding park shoot, as well as my henna ceremony and then finally he and Paul captured my wedding day!! These guys are just amazing. They are so calm and flexible and capture the most perfect natural moments without being in your face, I even forgot they were there half the time. We split the photographers to ensure everything was being captured, and I had Paul mostly with me, and David with my husband. The photos are just perfect.
