About

Inspired by my own struggles with mental health from a young age I knew that my calling was working with people and focusing on well-being. I continued to blog while returning to university to qualify as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.

Therapist

For a first meeting and a first session of therapy ever, it couldn’t have gone any better. I came away feeling much better and already looking forward to the next session.

Q&As

What I love most about my job is the working with people. I get to meet so many different people from different walks of life. Not only do I love helping these people but there's also always something I learn from each client I see.

I was inspired to start my own business because I could see how impactful mental health support is and how limited it can be when it is given through charities or NHS. They can include long waiting lists and the content of the therapy can be limited to what they are commissioned to supply. I wanted to break this cycle and offer quick appointments and broad resources to make a positive impact.

I have been in the shoes of a client before, my own struggles with mental health has given me the ability to truly understand how clients are feeling and what can make a difference. I want everyone who comes to me, either in my professional life or personal life, to feel I come from a place of acceptance with no judgement.

Appointments booked for telephone or Zoom require payment through PayPal on booking, if appointments are cancelled within 24 hours of booking 50% of payment will be refunded, cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will receive a full refund.

The therapy room receives a full clean between clients and I regularly complete rapid COVID tests to ensure I am safely delivering appointments. I also am able to offer appointments over telephone or Zoom.

Services

Counselling is something which everyone has knowledge of but only some are aware of what to expect in a session. The counselling I do is very person centred, this means it depends on what you bring to the session on how the session progresses.

I have experience in CBT and DBT and can sometimes bring those skills into the session depending on what type of support you are looking for. Sometimes we are just looking to be heard and sometimes we are looking for help but either way a counselling session could be exactly what you need.

You are completely in control of sessions and can have as few or as many as you like. It's also important that you feel comfortable and safe, this can mean either face-to-face appointments or appointments over the phone or Skype.

Hypnotherapy is a very relaxing process which can help get your subconscious and conscious brain to work together. We form habits by conditioning ourselves into believing that they keep us safe or are what is best for us. Our subconscious only ever wants to keep us alive and well but can often attach negative habits or negative ways of thinking to this if they have a history of ever helping.

Hypnotherapy can be unsuitable for pregnant women, if you are pregnant it is important for you to inform me. Because I cater each hypnotherapy session to the individual the first session will only contain guided relaxation (if requested).

Hypnotherapy works best in Face-to-Face appointments this is why I would recommend booking a Face-to-Face appointment for Hypnotherapy sessions, however Hypnotherapy can be done over Zoom if you would prefer.

Hypnotherapy can help with:

Relaxation sessions
Addiction
Fear and phobias
Weight loss and weight gain
Grief
Anger management
Habits and disorders
Body Image
Business skills and finance
Health relaxation
Relationships
And much more...
