flaura created the most amazing design for our small London backyard. They were super creative and we were blown away by the final design and video. What inspired you to start your own business?
Rose and Maya established flaura after having successfully collaborated on numerous design projects across a decade of close friendship.
"At flaura we create multi-sensory landscapes with a holistic backbone to add value to people's lives. The coronavirus pandemic really highlighted to us how society's health is significantly impacted by the time we can spend outdoors. With our newfound appreciation for precious landscapes, we rebranded and launched flaura as a holistic landscape design company. Accessing outdoor spaces is integral to wellbeing; our designs maximise the potential of your landscape for a meaningful outdoor experience."

Initial Consultation
Our initial meeting allows us to become acquainted with one another and get a feel for the project. We want to discover what your outdoor space means to you and unravel how the landscape can be redesigned to realise its full potential.
Survey & Analysis
If you love our ideas and wish to collaborate, the next step involves a topographical survey and analysis of the surrounding areas. We will produce a detailed and scaled layout plan of the site before we begin the creative process.
Concept Proposals
This is a really exciting stage where we will present you with a series of conceptual layouts, visuals, and mood boards. During this meeting we will explore the different design avenues we have proposed to understand the perfect route for you.
Master Plan & Finer Details
We will refine our combined ideas to produce a detailed master plan that incorporates key design features, materials, plant palettes, and measurements. The project will be brought to life using 3D perspectives and a video walk through, allowing you to explore your redesigned landscape in a day and night time setting. Any revisions and final tweaks you may have will be captured in our grace period.
Construction Detailing
If required, we can produce a full set of working drawings to aid you in the tender process. These can include:
Construction sections
Hard and soft landscaping plans
Setting out plans
Lighting and irrigation plans
Detailed specifications for design elements
