We have been using First Care Healthcare Ltd for almost a year now and are so pleased that this company was recommended to us by a family friend from her experience with them. Tancia, and her team excel at what they do, nothing is too much trouble and we are very impressed with their service. They never let us down and go above and beyond with their caring. They are reliable, and treat my mum with such kindness and dignity. Punctual with visits and in constant communication about her care. More recently they have been looking after my father too who is more challenging, but they have an understanding on exactly the care needs of both and this clearly shows. They have given our family peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are being looked after so well, it has been a great weight off our minds and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company if you are looking for professional small team who are passionate about caring, go above and beyond with what is expected, are easily approachable and in our opinion are irreplaceable. Tancia and her team (First Care Healthcare) helped care for my Mum between June and December last year (2022).

From the beginning Tancia was great, with a caring 'can do' attitude which stood out from other experience we’d had recently. She and her team are warm and friendly, and at the same time efficient and practical and had a respect and understanding of what Mum needed them to do - in contrast to the things Mum could and wanted to do for herself (although they would never just presume and always checked through things with her). When I requested that Mum (who had dementia and mobility issues), would be better served by one specific carer, Tancia was honest that this might be difficult, but did her best to facilitate, so that most mornings this was the case. When not, the several carers we met were all excellent anyway. The team are well managed and knowledgeable and showed invaluable common sense. Tancia being a fully qualified nurse was helpful and reassuring.

It is a daunting job finding good care for a loved one. I am so very grateful of the care they all showed to Mum in the last few months of her life. Without a doubt I recommend First Care Healthcare. More...

First Care were a wonderful personal care provider for my parents and nothing was ever too much trouble for the small but very knowledgeable team.
It was a delight to see the carers interacting with my parents and they both really looked forward to their visits.
On several occasions the ‘First Care’ carer stayed just that bit longer than their allotted time to make sure my parents were safe and settled.
I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Tancia and her team!
