About

Fen Studio Architects was founded in 2017, by ARB chartered architect and company director Joseph Gautrey - after a decade of industry experience working at numerous award-winning architecture practises in London, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. His portfolio of work varies from large scale multi-million pound schemes, to smaller, tailor made, bespoke houses for private clients . The latter is where Joseph's passion lies, and has most recently specialised within this discipline, working on one-off eco homes and multi-house development projects in the Suffolk countryside.

Fen Studio’s ethos and aim is to design well thought-out buildings and spaces which function, excite, and are at harmony with the people they house, and within the environments they are built. Not one project should be the same as another, and every design is as important as the next – from small scale extensions, remodelling projects and interventions, to larger occupancy buildings and spaces. Environmentally friendly building methods and technologies are a key driver in the studios design approach and are always explored as a starting block, and implemented where possible.
