We couldn’t thank all the staff at Farnham House Hotel enough for making our wedding day soo special! From the first time we visited the venue all the staff were so welcoming! The hotel is beautifully decorated and the grounds are so well kept and stunning! This venue was the only venue we looked at as we fell in love with it straight away! Louise (event Co/Ordinator) and Sarah were soo helpful throughout the wedding planning and were always there to answer any questions we had! Our wedding day couldn’t have gone more smoothly from start to finish! We decided to have our wedding ceremony outside in the hotel grounds, the setting was just beautiful and the sun was shining. The pictures we have are just amazing as there are so many scenic photo opportunities in the hotel grounds. The wedding breakfast was lovely, all our guest enjoyed the food, the hotel was really good at catering for our guests with food requirements and suggested alternatives for them. Ourselves and our guests has such a great evening with the DJ that was recommended, he was great at entertaining the guest and taking song requests, he also has a photo Mirror which went down really well with guest and we got to keep a copy of all the pictures that everyone took! Most of our family and friends stayed the night at the hotel, we had the Four Poster room which was lovely! Breakfast the next morning was great with a variety of food! All our guests are still talking about the wedding and saying how beautiful the venue was and how they had such a great time! I wish I knew all the names of the staff that made our day so special but I would like to thank you to Louise, Sarah, Rachel and the hotel manager! We had our wedding reception here on August 5th 2017. The hotel was stunning and luckily, the weather was beautiful so our guests enjoyed the grounds, especially the children. The bandstand area was great for speeches! Thank you so much to all the staff, who helped us create the wedding package to suit us and our families and were helpful throughout the day and evening. Our guests commented about how relaxed the reception felt and how friendly the staff were. The staff timed everything perfectly to suit us: speeches, cutting of the cake etc. and the food was great! Our wedding was amazing here at the Farnham House Hotel. Our wedding was held in the garden and we were so lucky the sun was shinning (end of april), such a beaitiful setting. Staff were fantastic and they helped with anything and everything. Felt like the staff were part of the family celebration. Louise and Neal you were amazing and Kevin kept us entertained and was there for us all night, even managed to get the groom up to dance! I couldn't rate this hotel any higher in terms of a wedding venue, hotel and somewhere lovely for Sunday lunch. The food at our wedding was gorgeous and they catered really well for 2 guest with dairy allergies and gluten free diet. Even made me a cup of tea at 1 in the morning when all our guests had left. My nephew had his wedding here . The sun was shinning so the ceremony took place in the garden under a beautifully decorated wooden open sided summer house . We booked a room for the night which had a 4 poster bed ... the rooms are very clean but obviously things are dated to keep in with the age of the hotel . On - suite bathroom again very clean . Very over priced bar but the staff are so friendly , will go out of their way to chat with you. It's a really lovely relaxed setting, clean room and nice staff. Dinning room and bar, what more could you want. Only thing I would say, I only noticed tea and coffee facilities in the morning, they were hidden away in a draw, I know in hind sight I should have looked around or looked in the book, but nothing is nicer than seeing a tea tray when you arrive in your room. We had our wedding here just a little over a week ago and all I can say is thank you. Louise and Neal you guys are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and you guys were so helpful not just on the day but on the run up, helping us up stairs with all our weddings items, changing menus and accommodating everything. Kevin, you saw us through the whole evening and what an asset you are to this hotel, the day wouldn't of been the same without you. All of the staff were fabulous. Sam worked the bar, he was great also. My only suggestion is to make sure more than one person is on the bar, as poor sam couldn't keep up! We loved our day, it was perfect. We had a lovely day at my daughters wedding, Friday 7th October 2016, from planning a year ago, for a small wedding it was excellent,they have been so helpful, we had whole hotel which l would recommend no other guests, the rooms where lovely, they are at present refurbishing the hotel, the grounds very well kept lovely for photos with the pond, the food was excellent, both for wedding breakfast and evening buffet all guests said how much they enjoyed the food, there was a lot of it.
