Founded in 2017 by Mike Bell and Will Fisher, we have quickly established ourselves as a go-to firm for innovative and creative residential and commercial projects.

Will Fisher of FAB Architects managed the project for our restaurant conversion and we could not have been happier with the outcome. He advised and acted as agent on all planning matters. He designed our commercial kitchen and oversaw the building and compliance with building regulations. He sourced and oversaw the implementation of a bespoke internal filtration system ensuring compliance with council guidelines. He advised on operational elements and sound dulling measures for the dining area. Throughout the project Will showed a commitment to delivering our vision to the highest standard, with excellent communication, and a keen understanding of our tight deadline. The project was completed to the highest specification and we found Will's manner in dealing with other people working on the team to be outstanding. Will and Mike’s practice FAB Architects designed the extension, garden office and ground floor renovation for our home ‘Green House. ’ From our initial meeting, they were very attentive to our requirements. They were synchronised with our ambition for the design and drove it forward. Their professional services are of the highest standard using models, virtual reality and traditional drawings to ensure the design was to our exact specifications. They were supportive throughout the entire process and were always on hand to make recommendations and help with decisions on the aesthetics, the best materials and which suppliers to use. We have worked with Fisher and Bell on a couple of projects which have both been a great success. They produced very detailed drawings and a clear specification which made the the jobs easier to quote for and build.
They also produced great visuals of the projects which gave us a clear idea of the vision that they and the client were expecting. We also worked closely with FAB on site and with the client to make the projects a reality.
We enjoyed working with Will and Mike and appreciated their dedication to the project. They went the extra mile to explain and further develop the designs on site with us to make sure the projects were completed on time and on budget!

We are bespoke furniture makers and FAB asked us to provide a quote from the drawings they provided. These were well thought out, clearly presented and we were able to accurately determine costs from them. Where additional details needed to be discussed, we found that FAB got back to us quickly, cooperated with our needs and were generally helpful and flexible. We worked with Will & Mike this year on our kitchen extension. Both Will & Mike came up with 3 beautiful concepts for us to consider which were delivered in a highly visual way allowing us to see exactly how the space would look. Prior to work commencing Mike was extremely helpful in getting us planning permission, working with thames water & guiding us in the preparation steps. The space is truly beautiful, our kitchen has changed from a small, dark and impractical space to a beautiful space that we cant wait to spend time in. Thank you both again for all your hard work. FAB have lived up to their acronym. We were looking to build a garden studio with specific needs - an office and a musical rehearsal space, as well as something that could be opened up in the summer as an outdoor living area. With limited floor space they produced a lovely concept design which kept the studio connected to the garden, and met our specific needs. Practical, pragmatic architects with a keen eye for detail and the client's end-goal. I've worked with FAB on numerous projects as their structural engineer and they have a balance for achieveing beautiful spaces in sensible ways. I found that at each project turn, whether in design meetings or on site with the contractor, that they understood the construction ramifications of architectural design solutions, considered what is easy to build and implemented this in cost-effective ways. I'd recommend them for Residential or other archiectural endeavours as they are a practice willing to innovate, both aesthetically and spatially, but within realisable and elegant means without compromising the end goal! We recently worked alongside Fisher and Bell who were the architects on a residential property extension and refurbishment in Earlsfield.
Working closely alongside Mike we quickly discovered that the ideas and drawings provided were exceptional. We have worked with numerous other architects on projects and Mike's knowledge and attention to the level of detail required were far greater than of previous projects with other architects. Mike was also extremely helpful to us on the construction side by offering quick and detailed solutions to problems which always arise on building sites, his ability to recommend quick resolutions helped us to complete the project for the client on time and on budget.
I would highly recommend the team at Fisher and Bell and look forward to working with them on projects in the future.

We specialise in working with modern techniques, but style is in the eye of the beholder. We believe in the beauty of functionality, and in striking a balance between what looks good, and what works well.
What do you love most about your job?
We love problem solving, learning new things and developing new ideas. But the most satisfying moment of any project is seeing how our designs improve the lives of our clients.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Fisher and Bell was born out of the desire to offer a highly personal, enjoyable service to clients from all sectors, utilising new and emerging visualisation and interactive techniques to help clients enter into the building process empowered and confident, an approach that they believe many practices have yet to adopt.
