Extra Help has been providing help for over 12 years, recently expanding in the Leeds area.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Clients would usually be expected to provide their own cleaning products of choice, though these can be arranged if required/preferred.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy my role because I am passionate about helping people. It provides a sense of community, wellbeing and brings job satisfaction.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been self employed for 12 years and recognise my own desires and passion for helping and supporting others. A clean home provides a sense of pride and sometimes, we all need a little Extra Help, a little bit of time and some kindness.
Why should our clients choose you?
Each cleaner/home helper has a DBS check in place and are reference checked before any assignments are provided. I tailor make the service to suit the needs of individual clients. Each role is then assigned one specific and regular cleaner/home helper at the same time each week which enables trust, a bond and good communication with the client.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 remains prevalent and we will take whatever precautions are needed to protect both our cleaners/home helpers and the clients alike.
Extra Help - Cleaning for all; Support to live independently
Domestic cleaning for all and house hold tasks, washing and ironing. Bed changing, decluttering. Shopping, companionship, meal preparation etc.
Taking clients to appointment such as GP/hospital, hairdressers or to visit friends.
Mother's/father's help - collect the kids from school, help with homework, prepare tea. Laundry, hoovering, tidy up etc.
