We have moved home 12 times during the last 57 years. We sold our bungalow in Rainworth and purchased a bungalow in Forest Town. Andy Slack was superb, hew was very professional and helpful throughout all of the transactions. He was alway available to help when difficulties arose and quickly sorted problems to enable a swift conclusion to the Sale of our property and purchase of the new one. Nev Lyon is great! Our experience with EweMove was so much better than our previous experience with a bigger, high street estate agent, and this was all down to Nev. It was so reassuring to have a single point of contact and he always got back to us immediately if we had any questions. We were made to feel like genuinely valued customers. I used Ewemove to sale my flat First meeting great, photos and marketing great Communication about viewings, offers response to offers great. Problem is (and i was not made aware of this at any point) is they farm out their final bits of the sale to a company called complete ASAP, who were woefully rubbish and almost cost me my onward process. Then when i came to moan about complete ASAP they just sat their and blamed others, curious what quality control is used in picking their partners would appear to be none. In the end it was the estate agent I brought from and myself who ended up doing ewe move & complete ASAP's job for them. Ewe move didn't even seem to have a clue what was going on regarding the progression of the sale as it was me who ended up telling them all the exchange and completion dates. I'm sure someone at ewe move will try and get this review removed, but i was told by the branch manager that they are responsible for their partners so all complaints fall with ewe move hence the bad review. In response to their reply You must set an extremely low bar for customer service if you think that the service I had was acceptable, I was not complaining that ewe move didn't remove all the stress I accept any house move will be stressful. We used Ewemove Shrewsbury to sell my late Dad's bungalow. Initially it looked like they weren't going to have to do much as one of Dad's friends said he wanted to buy the house almost as soon as it was on the market. Unfortunately, that sale fell through and then Greg did a storming job of getting something like a dozen prospective purchasers through the door on the first weekend, one of whom has just completed on the purchase. Greg and Bev were really on the ball. In our relatively limited experience of buying and selling houses, most of the professionals involved only seem to do things when you phone them so it was great to deal with people who were proactive. Currently having problems with a tenant of the Yeovil branch constantly blocking me in when he returns home. I’ve contacted the Yeovil branch twice and the last time the tenant moved his vehicle, he had parked fully across someone else’s driveway preventing anyone from parking on the drive, and parked it blocking another residents driveway by 1/3. The Yeovil branch have no respect for any of the neighbours around the property they are renting. The tenants are in unapproachable especially the female as she gets angry extremely quickly and doesn’t allow the man to move any of their vehicles. I am currently blocked in by the male tenant. On his return there were at least 9 empty spaces in the residents car park. It seems the youngsters have an immature need to park as close to the property as possible, without any respect, care or compassion to the surrounding residents who have lived on the street for years. If you want landlords that only care about their financial gain, it seems this is the agency! More...

I sent a request to view one of their properties. I was never contacted about viewing the property but received a couple of texts and emails confirming appointments to view the property with dates/times I never agreed to. One of these included information (email address) of another person interested in viewing the property- which is a clear breach of GDPR. I texted, emailed, and tried to call the agency and heard nothing until receiving a text message that if there are no applications I can view the property - never heard anything from them again. I received no apology for the confusing communications nor anything regarding the GDPR breach. I certainly won't be using this agency to view a property, let alone rent through them. More...
