Being a large lady gill never .add me feel uncomfortable she has made altered items for myself and also my family even when getting married my mom lost a lot of weight so her outfit was to big gill came to my rescue to which I called her my fairy godmother so anyone with things needing doing I would highly recommend Gill Evans 5 star

I left buying my wedding dress until super late. This meant that, though I found a stunning dress, it was too long and big for my frame. I was so panicked until the shop told me about a super seamstress who had worked with them for years and now did special clients.Living so far away (Central London) meant I was restricted to Saturday slots, but Gill happily accommodated me for two fittings. Soon as I had the dress on, she started pinning and I can't believe the accuracy she managed, while keeping me entertained with fascinating stories throughout. She even tidied up all lose threads and fitted extra security on the back to ensure a tighter fit. Naturally the finished dress fitted like a dream. Everyone was complimenting it on the day, telling me I looked like a princess-and I truly felt like one too. My husband even said wow when he first saw me. Thank you Gill for making my wedding dress dreams come true, and for making me feel so welcome in your home. You are a true genius x More...
