A great train station with useful and helpful facilities. Good links to lots of different towns and cities far from Farnborough. My favourite part of the station is the waiting room cafe on Platform 1 London Waterloo bound. Lots of choice. Everything there including sandwiches, biscuits, cakes, croissants and much more all home made by a lovely lady who owns it. One of the best food at a station I’ve ever had, no exaggeration, I mean that. Great quality of ingredients and tastes fantastic. The main reason I’m writing a review on this station. You rarely get that on any station, an independent cafe, not a chain with everything home made. Can’t beat it! More...

Very good train station in Farnborough. There is a pick up and drop off point outside the station, maximum time is 20mins. Can be very busy during peak periods though so keep that in mind. More...

It was better when there were 4 trains per hour in each direction; now there are only 3 per hour, with a 30 minute gap between quarter-to and quarter-past. This means Farnborough has lost its direct train to Southampton (Airport + Central), Bournemouth and Poole, as well as its second express train to Waterloo. A great station, with regular services on the Main Line. Helpful staff inside to help with most of your enquiries. Also, very good place to watch trains passing by due to the curving of the tracks nearby on Platform 2 (usually 158's). Very good station overall.
